Also, look at "older" actresses like Susan Flannery. She makes amazing acting choices. She can play over-the-top, but then pull back and ground her character so that we care about her. Robin is too one note.

Time to get rid of her. That is, if a miracle doesn't happen. And a miracle is a story not involving her sick attachedness to her son, Brooke, Taylor or Eric.

There has been no real direction for the character of Dorian in years. From the beginning of Robin's return in 2003, she was, for confusing reasons, marrying the man who had nearly raped her daughter. The only real way to play any of that was to go OTT.

I do think in some stories, like the Buddhist stuff last year, she's been more restrained.

I'm on Team Farah. A lot of people here really gang up on her and beat her up. She's a good little actor. She's no Robin Strasser, but who is these days?

I disagree. She has had 10 years to become, at the very least, a decent actress. Farrah has not done that, so yes it's hard to see comments from posters about how much she sucks, but the truth is always painful. Farrah is aweful, and for someone who has been in the business for the time that she has, it's a shame that she has not made any efforts to do better. She is lucky to have a lead role because she doesn't deserve it. She does not have to be Robin Strasser, but can she at least aspire to be as good as the kitchen sink?

I can understand someone being upset if they were constantly being personally attacked by people who don't even know them. And lord knows, there are quite a few people in the soap industry who would definitely have a leg to stand on if they wanted to raise a stink over that, but presumably, Fath is pissed because of what people say about her acting. Again, she is in a service industry, working for a company (ABC) to provide a service for consumers (the audience). In any other service industry setting, any other one, if a customer felt he or she was receiving half-assed service, he or she would be fully within his or her rights to complain, and if said service didn't improve, the complaining would not stop. It's up to no one but Fath to say whether or not she's giving her all, so I don't begrudge her that, but to insist that the audience has to enjoy it (or at least accept it) is preposterous and a little bit entitled. No one complains about her acting because they have a personal vendetta against her or just want to make things tough for her. It's because her acting, her "all," just isn't translating well to them. It's a bitch to know that people don't like the job you're doing (been there, don't that -- several times), but no one is gonna suddenly start liking it just because you want them to. And all of this doesn't even take into account the fact that she (rather stupidly) got way too specific with her declaration. A general "message board people" or "online fans" would not have caused this much mess at all.

And oh my god. Oh my God. This is exactly who she reminds me of:
