To me, he portrays that perfectly, and it's what he does best...I don't want to see Michael turn into a good boy, doing what Sonny keeps saying which is go to college, get a life, not want anything to do with the mob, blahh...I want to see him become even more angsty, like you said drunken hot mess, maybe turn to drugs...the ideas are endless with DG, I think he can pull all of those kinds of things off. I personally would like to see Dante, her newly found out half-brother, get into this somehow and have something to say. But I'm sure Michael will be the one, who will handle Kiefer of course.. He's done it more than once. I think one time may have been off-screen. But when they consummated the relationship, he laid off for a bit and just resorted to insults. I didnt think they ever got that far the casting was great but the writing a few years ago wasnt bc they are all Sonny's freaking spawns or have some other relation to him. If Michael does become like AJ then we will hear various characters say it was biology, and Sonny and Jason were noble for even putting up with him.
