January 31, 201016 yr Member I have to wonder how you think Lauren Koslow butchered her face? For a 56 year old woman, she is absolutely gorgeous. She hasn't had surgery either, just fillers, Botox and very skilled makeup (her husband is a makeup artist). She doesn't look 'done' and still has animation in her face. The lips are just enough, any more and she wouldn't look good. Lauren Koslow should have an affair with a decent hairstylist! Good God, her hair has been a disaster for years now.
January 31, 201016 yr Member More lifted ladies: Susan Flannery, Constance Towers, Marj Dusay... Marj Dusay? Really? She could barely close her eyes the last week of Guiding Light! Although she does look good, but in a pulling-her-ears-back way.
January 31, 201016 yr Member Deidre has a had lots and it looks really good. Funny enough, she didn't look quite as good on TV. She looked plastic, outside of DAYS, she looks lovely. Agreed, the television screen does not do her justice! And so thin, with beautiful, beautiful hair!
January 31, 201016 yr Author Member Marj Dusay? Really? She could barely close her eyes the last week of Guiding Light! Although she does look good, but in a pulling-her-ears-back way. Oh do I ever agree with you. Marj had some weird eye work after her run on AMC and within the timeframe of her last stint on GL. She really made it look like blinking could be painful. Speaking of GL...Miss Crystal Hunt has had quite a few nose jobs and it seems like she's hell bent on overhauling her face.
January 31, 201016 yr Member Crystal has had some very suspect Botox done. It's really impaired her looks and it's caused her eyebrows to droop. That is a temporary side effect and will improve over the next 3-6 months. Her breast implants were inappropriate for her frame. I'm glad she didn't have new ones put in. She is someone who looks her best, naturally. She does seem to be going overboard on the botox. I've heard that she denies using collagen which I actually can believe given that her lips have always been pretty big. Did Robin Christopher ever get any work done? I heard she once said she wouldn't rule out plastic surgery but she seemed to be aging pretty naturally when she left GH. Speaking of GL...Miss Crystal Hunt has had quite a few nose jobs and it seems like she's hell bent on overhauling her face. I agree. That nose does not look natural at all.
January 31, 201016 yr Member Rumor has it he wear a rug. I would NEVER have botox, EVER. There's no way I'm going to inject a deadly toxin in my skin for any price. I'd rather look like Ernest Borgnine. Now fat injection... I'd do that. I don't think that is much of a rumor because as an avid Michael fan I have noticed that for years. He seems to have thinning hair and is not bald. I don't really think he hides it all that much in public either because on appearances he often appears with his thinning hair. His hair looks good on the show so whatever he uses matches well. I just don't see much of a change based on plastic surgery. I think if he put on a few more pounds his face would look fuller. I love CLB and TEB but I think they have both become too thin these past couple years, and if they put on the weight they had when they shot the Lauren and Michael wedding they would look younger. Although both look great in my book. I guess as you age it really is you keep the body or the face.
January 31, 201016 yr Member I agree. That nose does not look natural at all. Hardly anything about Crystal Hunt is natural, if you ask me. I wonder if there's ever been an actor whose "work" was so natural-looking that people were shocked to learn about it "after the fact," so to speak.
February 1, 201016 yr Member Susan Lucci, Jacob Young, and Tracy Bregman are some others who've had noticeable dental work. What about Susan Haskell? I've seen her take a lot of flack on the boards for her teeth and there seems to be something off about her jawline. @Eric, I really think Extreme Makeover had a huge impact on cosmetic dentistry. A lot of us knew about things like porcelain veneers and laser whitening, but that show really put those things on the map and suddenly everyone was buying Whitestrips or throwing down the money (around $1,000/tooth) for veneers, or Zoom/Brite Smile *Raises hand* As someone who just dumped almost five grand on Lumineers, I have to say I LOVE them. I can't imagine what a boost they must be to someone in the business. Edited February 1, 201016 yr by marceline
February 1, 201016 yr Member Awesome! So you're happy with your Lumineers? That's great to hear. I've heard conflicting reports, I've looked into them myself as I'm tired of bleaching, and they'd correct some (admittedly minor) things about the shape of my teeth that I don't like. I just don't want my teeth to walk into the room before I do, you naw mean? But yeah, I thought Pelphey may have gotten them when I saw a picture of him smiling a while back. February 1, 201016 yr Member Lauren Koslow's nostrils seem much larger than they used to be. I'm pretty sure her face has been whittled on. Does Crystal Hunt look any different than she did on GL in the early '00s, aside from being a little older? Edited February 1, 201016 yr by koos
February 1, 201016 yr Member Hardly anything about Crystal Hunt is natural +1. Edited February 1, 201016 yr by DeeeDee
February 1, 201016 yr Member Here's Crystal Hunt in 2003: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39M7aUGznjs I was wondering what people think of Lasik. I only know one person who had it, and they said their vision was worse afterward.
February 1, 201016 yr Member CH reminds me of a certain adult film star but I'm afraid to say her name in fear that yall'll go Googling and put viruses on your computers.
February 1, 201016 yr Member Here's Crystal Hunt in 2003: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39M7aUGznjs I was wondering what people think of Lasik. I only know one person who had it, and they said their vision was worse afterward. I had a customer whose sister had it, and what they don't tell you about lasik is small percentage of people get irreversible scarring of the cornea, and it happens a couple years down the road.
February 1, 201016 yr Member Robin Strasser had Lasik and she really had a time with it, she talked about all of the difficulties she was having on her hotline. I heard Kathy Griffin(ith?) talking about it on some talk show, she had problems too (halos/poor night vision and such).
