After watching today, I got to say... how the hell did Zima get that role in prime time? Why did they want her on this show? Just WHOSE casting couch is this chick lying on? She sure didn't get hired for her talent. I just don't think I can stand to watch her ONE MORE DAY. She's that bad. She makes Hayley Erin look like Meryl Streep.

She was really young when she was on ER (oh, how I miss that show now that it's gone), so not much intense acting was required.

But yeah, whoever is casting this show needs their head examined. I can't necessarily blame the casting director, since the producer who sits in for the final audition and has final say in who gets hired is the one who ultimately hired these crappy actors. I wonder if it's Maria or Rauch that sits in on the auditions now. I know the girl who plays Eden said she auditioned for Maria when she got the part, so I guess it's Maria that's present for the final auditions.

These bad casting decisions make the already bad storylines even worse...

Barbara Bloom should try to steal Mark Teschner from GH, she does know him from her time at GH/PC.

According to Nelson, it was Barbara Bloom who wanted Stephen Nichols to replace William Russ as Tucker, and I can see that. We see how Maria and Rauch have no problems keeping bad or miscast actors on this show...

Probably, though, if budget cuts get too deep again, I can see them firing Nichols. Given how shortsighted this writing regime is and how it seems like they never plan anything out, I wouldn't be surprised if they ditch the Tucker character within a year and blame it on story or budget reasons.

LMFAO! So sad, yet so true. You rock, lovely_m!

After that chipmunk storyline they would never intentionally work for Y&R. They may give them negative publicity and people may come in to see the trainwreak like they do Jersey Shores.

The only reason Kevin Schmit was cast in their movie was so that they could beat on someone from Y&R. They wanted one of the writers or Greg Rikaart, but they were too old to play a convincing teenager.

I can't believe how utterly awful it is. The story is a never ending nightmare and the acting is just so atrocious. Something must be done. If ever a recast was needed Daisy is it, unless her demise is imminent. Today when she was covering her eyes because Michael had his shirt off  Bitch, please. I just wanted to slap the character for being such a phony and the acting is only making it that much worse. She has me wishing that Tyra would come back and take her airtime. The whole thing is just an epic FAIL.

    • The one that Christos did would be the RTL Lounge recording (without end credits and subtitles) and the one @rsclassicfanforever did would be the Videoland version with end credits and no subtitles). Is that what you mean by two versions? @BoldRestless
    • The dialogue is so clunky and doesn't  flow naturally. It's like it is written without thought of how it actually sounds when delivered by the actors.

    • This is so confusing. So will CBS and P.Plus just be a day ahead for the rest of the episodes the whole week?
    • April 15, 1993 is when they first meet.
    • Does anyone know the air date when Victoria & Cole first meet? Was there a scene when Victoria was sitting on Cole's lap and kissed him? If so, does anyone know the air date?
    • When is the last time Bridget & Deacon scene happened?
    • Surely that was a joke. Why would anyone seriously ask if Dani had any rooms besides having a bedroom? MOST of the time when we see her, she's in that open, airy, white room with her kitchen far stage left & there's an island & a love seat.  I have meant to post to say how taken I was with Eva last Thursday. You don't know it but I have  not really gotten into either Eva or Leslie/Sheila/Anna/Dana/Mom in the same ways or degrees most of y'all have.  With "Many Names" I get that it's quite a challenge to play that evil & that crazy without becoming cartoonish & she hasn't, so there is that. But, I do not see layers or nuance. I also do not fault the actress. If the gray tones are not there on the page, I don't expect to see them ripped out of thin air. With Eva there were so many questions. Now most have been answered.
    • No kidding. It’s amazing to me that CBS as messy as it was for the 97-98 season landed at #2 that year thanks to Sunday nights, 1/2 of the Monday night lineup, Diagnosis Murder on Thursdays, and oddly the Saturday night line-up. I think CBS was saved by the Winter Olympics not to mention ABC had gotten even messier than CBS’ mess.  CBS came out a more solid for #2 for the 98-99 season but was still very uneven overall. Outside of Sundays the rest of the network’s hits were on checkerboard split between Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.    Had it not been for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire fever I’d say CBS probably would’ve been at #2 for the 99-00 season as well, very much still uneven but of course Survivor and CSI were on the horizon. (*There’s some evidence that CBS may have barely eked out a win for #2 for the 96-97 season but that season’s mess sure doesn’t feel that way)
