Members JackPeyton
Are they doing it on a show? Perhaps the KTLA morning news show if not the networks?
Members jcar03
^^Not as far as I know. I'm guessing it will just be a press release.

Members Cashton
The Daytime Emmy's are such a joke now. No one cares enough about soaps enough to even watch the tapes. it's so agenda/political/high school popularity contest! Sure I'll watch, speculate on who's going to win, but if there's no Eric Braeden, MTS (who both gave their best performances in a while) it's empty and meaningless to me. Members JackPeyton
Have they ever NOT been a joke, honestly?
Members jcar03
There's no IF's about it, neither got a pre-nomination.
Members Cashton
Maybe they always have been, but the difference now to me is that no one in the Daytime world cares - cept the fans and the winners. And I do think they used to care.
Members jfung79
I'm not sure how the nominations are being made this year so I hesitate to make predictions. Are there judging panels who will actually be watching people's tapes, or is everyone eligible to vote? Also I am not familiar with what has been happening on other shows besides P&G ones so I could only comment on how among those prenominees would be most worthy of nomination. Members jcar03
The judging process is the same as every year. Go to the official site (www.emmysonline.org) and check out the process. My main prediction is that for the third year in a row the Lead Actress Category will be all CBS actresses.
Members Jonathan
I think Debbi Morgan will sneak in there.
