Members DRW50 Posted August 18, 2020 Members Share Posted August 18, 2020 Michelle Obama gave such a beautiful speech in 2016, which many dismissed as out of touch, but was trying to appeal to a better America she hoped for, even if she likely knew it didn't exist. This year her speech was cutting and just as powerful, and made the most of the lack of applause and hollering - that "it is what it is," followed by silence, was more brutally effective than a million campaign ads can ever be.
