That's sad, especially for those who have lost their families through this process. And I have a feeling this will last even after Trump is out of office.

I saw some of the photos of Ivanka at the Jerusalem embassy opening and I swear it was like Valerie Cherish had come out to play. Why she decided to act that way and style herself that way at what any idiot would know was a serious and very dangerous occasion, I don't know. I sometimes feel that people put too much blame on the women in the administration or the Trump family, but in this case they aren't wrong.

Yes. I can't imagine the grief of expecting your parents or children to follow and then they can't.  For the first 6 months or so of the administration I kept telling myself "we can undo it" every time 45 did something awful.  Obviously, that's not really true, especially in the case of refugees.

Ivanka and Jared were a disgrace.  I didn't watch in any depth, but I saw enough to know that.  I don't mind that she is happy about the embassy. A lot of people I know are, but at least be sober and dignified. The complete denial in word and deed of other people's suffering was appalling.

I just don't know what to say.... it's so hard to understand how such bigotry and stupidity can exist.

Not really. AIDS was ignored during most of Reagan's presidency. Although you would hope 30 years later attitudes have changed. Sad that there are so many still so darn ignorant and bigoted. This IMO comes close to criminality.

Identity politics at its very worst. this crap still plays well with the fools. and they think these people can stop all the people they hate from just being people.

It will likely fail in the House, but it gets them on record. And it's a start towards fixing things. This is a huge victory regardless.

Roger Stone knew plenty and he practically let that be known in his tweets. That aside the collusion is still happening on social media. Right after that whole mess with Kanye West a lot of black Twitter users reported being followed by hair weave accounts. Of course not all black people are interested in hair weave but Russia will create algorithms for these robot to attempt to find people to follow based on things like consumerism.

Yep, that was apparently a deliberate choice on the investigators' part.

Let's hope this is a national trend.

As much as Dems should be working on turnout we should also be looking at ways to depress Republican turnout.
