Vee is watching the numbers and not losing his mind in public.

It's certainly closer and tenser than anyone wants right now, but I still think we'll take it.

I am honestly shocked at this point. I honestly never believed it would be this close. This says so much about my fellow Americans and not in a good way

It's happening around the world. Maybe we were naive to think the same wouldn't be true here. Every 2-4 years the far right vote springs into action and does better than expected. I think that Hillary's people knew and tried their best, but Trump, as frightening as he is to many (including me), is a blank slate to many others, or someone they don't take seriously. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people say it doesn't matter if he wins because sensible people will tell him what to do. It's a fantasy land but many want to live in a fantasy.

Apparently that dumbass Ayotte is in the lead in NH-Sen. And McCrory in NC. Ugh. Disgusting. He makes me sick to my stomach.

Not that it matters, but as thin-skinned as he is (and he's way too thin-skinned), Nate Silver had a good point all along.
