The long-time male cast members were for the most part spared. Knots Landing final season the longest-tenured main cast members were Michele Lee, Ted Shackelford, Kevin Dobson, William Devane. Michele took a pay cut to appear in all episodes of the final season and Ted, Kevin, William had their episodes cut during the final season.
