This is pretty right on compared to the other survey's like this that I used to do in my Political Science courses. Though I do tend to be more Socially Liberal, so it might be slightly off, but over all a an accurate assement, I think. :)

Its pretty accurate. I always have deemed myself a right leaning moderate. Socially is really where I'll lean left for certain things.

Lol I thought I would be more Liberal. I remember reading somewhere once that Canadians were considered to be basically one step away from Communists :P No doubt during the Reagan era. Apparently though when it comes to crime I have little mercy. It was an interesting survey but I think more questions would have been appropriate. As a non-American I was'nt sure about a couple of questions as well. I just went on what I had read about the No Child Left Behind Policy, which sounds like utter crap based on what I've read on teaching sites. This was me:

I dont know what a voucher system vs No Child Left Behind would mean for education. We dont have things that sound so ridiculous in our edu system (which is still flawed). We fund schools with our taxes, wtf would a voucher play into that??

The environment is very important, but the wording of the question made me vote the conservative answer. You cant just chuck businesses for the environment completely, the economy would collapse. Companies need to find ways to make their products more environmently sound, and consumers need to start making environmental choices to make them (ie, stop buying everything "disposable". toilet wands, wipes, sweepers, etc).

I think the defense and crime score is very accurate. There isn't enough focus on the rehabilitation. Only the incarceration. People should not be walking around with handguns. And untill it can be guaranteed that no innocent person could be executed by the death penalty, it should not be permitted.
