I hate that Phyllis is going to play Shelia Carter. I think the problem is that the writers don't know who this character at her core really is and make fundamental errors when writing this character. All she ever wanted is to be loved, once she claims/falls in love she becomes overprotective like a bear protecting her young, she gives it her all and then some. What makes her love/ why she loves so intense needs to be explored, instead of this evil Sheila.

What would make Shelia hate herself so much to go for such a radical make-over I think this also need exploring and would be more entertaining than the non-sense I think will play on screen in January.

And only Kimberlin Brown can give a stare the send chill through your bones/ Michelle Stafford cannot. Michelle is a good actress but Kimberlin owns this character/role.

BLESS YOU!!! What a beautiful christmas present to Sheila fans, somebody who understands just WHY this character is so brilliant. You know, people are always frightened to empathise with mentally disturbed characters, so they chalk them down to being 'pure evil'... its disgusting, no wonder they stay in that dark place if nobody is willing to help them understand where the darkness comes from. Dr James Warwick 'got' Sheels, but Stephanie, Lauren and Maggie prevented him from rescuing her in her hour of need. On this day of all days, it is important to know that Jesus of Nazareth would not have turned his back on Sheila!

Most of the time, I feel us, the great Sheila fans, know this character better than any CBS writer can dream of knowing her. The Sheila who flourished for years on B&B on her quest to be loved would never for a second dream of changing her face to that of a total stranger just to stalk/kidnap Lauren. Sheila wouldn't waste her time on Lauren or Fen, she'd be looking for a man to see the goodness locked deep inside her and would be looking to establish contact and forge relationships with her daughters. The devine Kimberlin Brown probably can't get over the path this character has taken. Truly unbelievable.
