Shawn and Belle are still cousins in my book. Their "relationship" grosses me out and I really wish that Shawn had left when Jason Cook did (although I really like the new actor). And while we're talking about things that are just wrong, it is wrong for Hope to be a grandmother!

As ridiculous as SHELLE fans think my view is is exactly how ridiculous I think the SHELLE view of an obvious rape being romantic is, too. At the time Belle was engaged to be married to Philip. Shawn was treating Belle like dirt beneath his feet and really hateful to her. There was no love there. Believe me. I started watching in August 2004 and never saw one tender moment pass between Belle and Shawn. I hated him and the way he treated her, so there was not one ounce of tenderness or love in that scene. He was not unconscious. I don't believe for one second an unconscious man could get an erection much less ejaculation. He was aware. Obviously, he blocked it out though. I still don't like Shawn for that and don't know that I ever will.

As much as Shawn irritates the heck out of me, I love Beemer. He is wonderful and watching him today, I thought how much he resembled Victor and actually could be his grandson. He matched him expression for expression. I'd love to see Shawn start to take after his grandfather rather than the loose cannon, act before thinking, way he has been written. Beemer can be more than that. He might win me over with behavior that proved there was something behind the actions besides base instinct.

Two glorious days in a row now, the show has ended without the horrifying special effects. I love the way it ended today... John and Marlena step on the elevator, he kisses her from behind, the doors close... THE END. So simple, so cute, so good. I loved it.

Umm, its been clinically proven that an unconscious man gets erections every thirty minutes or so until he wakes up. As for ejaculations, I won't go into detail, but men know for a fact that its possible while not awake.

It was NOT rape. And it's ludicrous that anyone would make that accusation. JMO.

Let me just say that for the first time in such a long time, I felt like I was watching an actual Daytime drama! It was all there.

John Aniston and Brandon Beemer were excellent in their scenes together! I knew it wouldn't be long until Shawn and Belle would face the wrath of Victor Kiriakis. I laughed when Shawn tried to stand up to Victor. Victor shot him down like it was nothing. Shawn is like a kitten compared to some of the men Victor's dealt with in the past. It was comical in a serious way. I loved Victor doubting Shawn's manhood. "Philip is twice the man you'll ever be!" Low blow to Shawn. As much as Shawn stood up to Victor and tried to sound brave, you could see the hurt in Shawn's eyes when Victor said he meant nothing to him.

LOVED John and Marlena today. For only being a day-villain, Rico's added a lot to this story. I liked him. Marlena had me rolling when she was explaining the loud noises and crashes that were coming from the room. "Rough amore..." Add me to the list that love Marlena helping John on his spy missions.

Kate was wonderful today. I loved her scheme at Chez Rouge to get Victor's keys. She's a smart lady, that Kate Roberts. I'm so pissed I missed the end. Kate was standing right outside the secret entrance and Victor had just arrived. And damn it, I had to go to class

Max and Mimi were okay, but I want nothing but a friendship between these two.

I really am enjoying DOOL. When I get home from work, I flip it on the DVR. A year and a half ago I felt that way about OLTL. What a difference a year makes. I no longer watch OLTL.

Right now DOOL has it all on the ball. I think the characters are great and the couples have good chemistry. The bad guys are believable and I can tell the bad guys from the good guys. The actors all are cut above what you see on other soaps, particularly ABC. That's a sad commentary because Erika Slezak, Tony Geary, Genie Francis, Jerry verDorn, Dan Gauthier, Heather Tom, Brooke on AMC, are the among finest that daytime ever produced and we so seldom see them.

One thing i'm really enjoying about Hogan is he's using pretty much the entire cast in his storylines..I really want to commend him on that..

I disagree. Shawn certainly does have business being involved in Claire's life. Yep, his sperm created her. But, he ALSO loves Belle. And he loves Claire. And Phillip is gone...they have no way of knowing he will be back or when that even could be. So I put myself in Shawn's situation...I love the baby that my sperm produced, i love the mother of that baby, I have no idea when the other father she knew will be back, or if he even will be....I'd do the exact same thing they're doing. And I'd be damn suspicious of why Victor got so upset over just a cut back in time. It's not like they wanted to completely take Claire away from seeing him...just to cut back. That's totally understandable to me.

Shawn chose Belle and his daughter over that skank Willow (who I now suspect is not a DiMera operative, but hired by Victor to make Shawn look bad so Philip will have more ammo when it comes to Claire). He wants to be a decent father to Claire and he deserves that chance. It's not Shawn's fault that for almost a year, he didn't know Claire was his, and for his own grandfather and wife to keep that from him was sickening. Philip was a good father to Claire, but now that his marriage to Belle is over, he has no claim to that child. The only good part of this story is that we will finally have some conflict between Bo and Victor that was swept under the rug for years, when Bo finds out what Victor is up to, not to mention Belle and Shawn doing anything they can to protect their daughter. This is a new chance for Shelle to grow up and be a dominating couple, in the tradition of other DAYS couples. Seeing a ruthless Victor is fine, but not one that is willing to ruin his own grandson and sever all ties with his son just to get a child for his other son that isn't even his.
