December 11, 200619 yr Member What the hell are John and Marlena expecting to find in Italy? Stefano's body was destroyed when Tony's island exploded, so of course his tomb will be empty! I don't have a problem with Stefano being alive. It's perfectly plausible that he survived the car crash in Monte Carlo. After all, Tony did call him during the serial killer storyline to keep him up to date with his nefarious plan. But John and Marlena SAW Stefano's corpse. So finding the tomb empty is not going to prove either way whether he's alive or not. And while I'm at it, the idea of EJ being Elvis is just as ridiculous! When we last saw Susan, she had married Edmund and moved to England with him and Elvis. She then posed as Kristen for a photo with Elvis and sent it to Stefano to let him know "Kristen" was travelling the world. Now are we supposed to believe that somehow Stefano figured out the truth and kidnapped Elvis or something? And if he did that, did he rescue Kristen from the dungeon? And if he did do all this, why did he not tell Tony that Kristen was alive? After all, Tony's entire motive for the Salem Stalker scheme was to get revenge on John for taking Kristen from him and eventually causing Kristen's "death". This story has so many holes in it that it's not entertaining at all.
December 11, 200619 yr Member They went there to find out EJ's participation in the DiMera family. And um, no, John just said that it was NOT Stefano's skeleton. It's not like they saw HIM, they saw a skeleton - could've been anyone's. DiMeras are big on family, so Stefano WOULD be buried in that tomb. Of course, he could NOT be alive, but him not being in there just supports their theory that he's still kickin'. Didn't Tony seem to hate Stefano during the island story? Thank goodness Reilly is gone, because I can't wait to see how they do this. To have Stefano's influence without having him there - it's intriguing.
December 11, 200619 yr Member First, that skeleton of Stefano's could've easily been someone else's corpse. It's a DiMera specialty, LoL. Second, I don't even want to be reminded of the horrible story in which we even SAW that skeleton. Almost as bad as "Garden of Eden."

I laugh every single time I think about that.
December 11, 200619 yr Member Yeah! The only belivable part about those scenes was the scream from Mar when she saw him. Other than that it just sucked hard.
December 11, 200619 yr Member You mean the skeleton with the goatee and hair? I laugh every single time I think about that. LoL! Well, there WAS still rotten flesh attached.
December 11, 200619 yr Member I'm sorry this is OT, but that had to have been the first time I ever saw a skeleton with a full head of hair and a goatee! JER should have been canned just for that (or the people in the prop department).
December 11, 200619 yr Member How uspetting that a story involving the ENTIRE cast, the VETERAN cast (Kristian Alfonso, Dee Hall, Drake Hogestyn, Suzanne Rogers, John Aniston, Thaao Penghlis, Bill Hayes, James Reynolds, Peter Reckell, Peggy McCay, Matt Ashford and Missy Reeves) had to be written so ridiculously. Involving that much of the cast in one storyline could've been MAGIC! It even involved Ari Zucker, which I LOVED! Could've been great, but instead... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qm5BobMOMw
December 11, 200619 yr Member Oh my god. After watching that montage, I gagged. How did the cast keep a straight face? Seriously, I cannot believe JERk actually has an Emmy.
December 11, 200619 yr Author Member There's just no reason for John to think that it wasn't Stefano's corpse on the island. It lacks logic. I hate Hogan Heifer!
December 11, 200619 yr Member There's just no reason for John to think that it wasn't Stefano's corpse on the island. It lacks logic. I hate Hogan Heifer! No? Let's try the fact that Stefano's come back from the dead before, much more than once. It makes perfect sense for John to question whether or not it's true this time, as well.
December 11, 200619 yr Author Member I guess it's possible for John to question it (Tony could've lied, and now we know he did), but it's the crypt thing that doesn't work. So Stefano has had the fake ashes, the fake body, and now an empty crypt. What's next?
December 11, 200619 yr Member He's Stefano DiMera! The Phoenix! He didn't get that name by accident. His thing is, when the Bradys and Hortons think he's dead, he turns up alive. Stefano sped out of town what, 5-6 years ago? And, with all the times he's faked his death, even if John did find a corpse, Stefano would have set it up to NOT be his. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the whole thing.
December 11, 200619 yr Member Didn't John say the other day that he had the skeleton tested and it was not a match for Stefano?
