OMG, I'm watching AMC right now on my lunch break and Lily's screen name is "AUTISMGIRL2?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" My god, how offensive is that?!!!

At first, having not seen AMC in a while, I thought it must be an impostor, but then the camera showed Lily's face and I was just SHOCKED, STUNNED and in DISBELIEF!!!!!!

My GOD!!!

Although, thank GOD the filmed look is still here. Hopefully AMC honchos will keep it, and just give rid of the handhelds (or be good at shooting that way).

How in the hell is that offensive? You haven't been watching the show and must not know the Lily's character or personality.

This whole Colby's 16 party is a CHEAP imitation of MTV's "Sweet Sixteen" - which in and of itself is cheap. The 'grand entrance' with the hunks carrying her - the perfect dress and secondary dress - and I can't believe they are actually recording the time of this entire event (i.e. 9:00am). This is all a cheap imitation and Colby is being annoying.

Only great part is JR's reaction and I actually enjoyed Adam's heartfelt love speech about Colby that he gave JR.

LOVE the Di/Zach stuff. Di has great chemistry with any leading man.

After watching the first half of AMC today and seeing all of the Colby stuff, I get the feeling that AMC is trying way to hard to copy the MTV show, My Super Sweet Sixteen. Its so pathetic. If I were JR i would have done much worse than destroy her dress. I would kick the crap out of her. She is so annoying, loud and ungrateful. What a little brat.

On the show McTrash basically has Lily's whole identity revolve around her autism, so it doesn't surprise me she'd have a screenname like that

It's like if someone had a screen name called "AIDSboy69." Wouldn't you find that a bit odd? Or how about, "BreastCancer!@#$%^&*]66?" NOW it's offensive isn't it? Instead of something like, SoapLover23 or, I don't know, Lils51, she's AustismGirl2. NOW do you see?

Well, I disagree. I LOVED the montage. That's something that AMC can do much better thanks to the 'filmed look.'

That said, HATED, HATED, HATED the shot of Colby's feet. Can you say DISGUSTING?!!

And oh yeah, Colby is a spoiled !@#$%^&*] of a princess. Honestly, being escorted from a barge by five men? What a skank! And Adam puts up with this [!@#$%^&*]?!! He should backhand her for being such a spoiled !@#$%^&*]. What a skank HO! There are people in third world countries who are poor and don't even HAVE Sweet 16s, you goddamn WHORE!!!

First, I wouldn't necessarily say that the previous poster finds it offensive - she just said she doesn't think it's surprising.

Second, like I said, you haven't been watching the show much lately. It makes PERFECT sense that her screename is that. Her life was just ruined bc she found out Jonathan was normal and not 'like her'. She locked herself in her room and the sole reason she's online was to find someone who is 'like her' to replace Jonathan. The entire purpose of this chat session is to find someone 'like her'. Do you get it? It's not like she's on AIM all the time and her permanent screename is AutismGirl.

Plus Lily is not ashamed of her autism. She makes it perfectly aware to everyone that she has Austism Spectrum Disorder (which I have memorized bc she says it so often). Because of this, it is not surprising or offensive that Lily would make her screename that.

LOL well some of that was pretty harsh, harsher than i was, but i agree. I do admit though that some of it was nice, like the montage of the two girls getting ready, but the fact that she is such a little spoiled brat overshadows that.

am I totally alone in this? I kind of loved Colby's speech to JR. It was the first time I believed the kid was for real - and she didn't screech - a MAJOR plus.

Yeah I liked her then.

And I liked Adam's speech to JR about his love for Colby and how he really wants to do this one thing for her.

It's still annoying though when she screeches and lashes out at everything, making her a brat. I actually am on Sydney's side - and am glad Babe is going to be on her side too I totally thought of her as like the Cinderella even before Babe said it today.

What I find interesting is that there's obviously an AutismGirl1 out there somewhere.

Could the dialog for Colby possibly get anymore stereotypical and stupid? I miss the days of teens like Kelsey. She was a !@#$%^&*] as well, but she was written realistically. Call me crazy, but I actually sort of like Sydney. The more I see of her, the more I like her. I think with the correct writing the actress could shine.
