  1. Was that when he was playing the DID part on ATWT? I liked him as much as I liked Deas. Do you know why Lester turned the part down? Come to think of it, Terry Lester died young, around 52 or 53. [EllenP] : Ellen Weston taking Alex to clown town! That is a very funny line.
  2. Cut back early (less than a third year) because of pre-emptions due to the Persian Gulf War.
  3. I knew what he meant. No worries. And, someone had brought up Potter. I believe they were wondering what he did between gigs. Maybe it was this: AW 64-66 EP ATWT Prod DOC 67-73 EP GL 76-82 EP GL 81 HW AW 83-84 EP
  4. Yes, she was a child actress, just like Ricky Paull, Beth Ehlers, maybe more.
  5. I've said. Please stop calling me names. I made one error today, none yesterday, none the day before. And, I spoke up about what it it was.
  6. We remember things differently. as soon as I got here awhile back someone got into a PM with me to remind me that they had left the Buzz Board the same as I had and as others had. It's appalling to me that you would say "alleged" Parkinsons diagnosis. I was diagnosed with Parksinsons in August 2012 but I had a long honeymoon. That's all over now. The very idea that you think I'm out to get sympathy is disgusting.
  7. You seemed to catch onto me yesterday but not today. I don't want to alienate you. But I'm not shouting into a megaphone. I hope you will reconsider.
  8. I didn't have any obnoxious behavior on the Buzz Board and I wasn't banned from it. I didn't like it and I left it. There were people at the Buzz Board that I just could not abide. My partner was the GL Editor at Soap Opera Digest and she didn't care for it either. So we both left it. I know other people who left it too. We didn't miss it.
  9. You're very welcome! Great clip of Nadine in heaven.
  10. Khan, I have to say that I'm disappointed in you. When I make an error, it's definitely not because I'm dong it on purpose. It's sad for people to think that. If I were making a mistake on purpose, I would own up to it. I just make mistakes sometimes & I try my best to make up for them. It's just very human. I'm sick and tired of some people calling me names. They don't have any business doing it! They should be ashamed of themselves. They should know how to behave better than that. I'm embarrassed for them that they treat people that way. And, I am certainly NOT bringing out any illness of mine and using it. I'm working hard at doing better here to get on with all of you. I like it here. I care about it. But, I'm still going to make mistakes. I'm just already making fewer of them.
  11. This is better than my previous post. You can find clips of AW here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrDuEP-M4n4&list=PL4VcbQ8kMdHI2rQKUB4owOFg_9whbHqbT
  12. Because Patrick McNee died and I associate with the Avengers, the original ones with McNee and Diana Rigg, and some of us DOOL fans got our nicknames, like shallotpeel and garlicpeel, etc. from John Black & the jewel thief and I got misplaced and in the wrong thread. That's something that happens to me sometimes. I never do it on purpose. 😪
  13. Wee-elll, it was typical of his behavior already, even then, ... He took advantage of a member of the soap press, .... He took advantage of a 16 year old fan in Toronto, .... It went on & on. Yes, AW could not be made into a DOOL clone! I don't know about whether she was fired or not. David Hedison done away with. Shane's death. Unfortunately do you remember how Lila would be frightened of all storms?
  14. I have the Back Order of the Soap Opera Digest of the 2 day finale of AW. June 28, 1999 and June 29, 1999 ... Everybody takes a turn talking about the show. The last Nick, Mark Mortimer shared a crazy anecdote: pg. 80-81: Soap Opera Digest, June 29, 1999: "What I will remember most is having Tom Eplin (Jake) take my pants off (as a prank) while I was doing lines. Standing naked in dry rehearsal in front of all of my peers. But, I just kept going. I pulled my pants up. I was a little humiliated because it was early in the morning and I had just come out of a cold shower (laughs). But I proved him wrong." - Mark Mortimer (Nick, 1996-present)
  15. Was that the primetime "Dark Shadows" that Ben Cross and Ellen Wheeler were in? Ryan & Vicky in heaven?
  16. Did she go then to that Mediterranean doctors show? "Going to Extremes"? I liked the triangle with Jamie & Vicky. What is BTS trouble? Yes, that is ludicrous.
  17. In the Executive Producer thread many people listed Wes Kenney among their top 3.
  18. I realize that this is B&B and is not Susan Flannery as Laura on DOOL or as she is today Directing, etc. but did you happen to see her in between and betwixt when she was on Dallas? Oy! She was so magnificent. And, she did a movie where she played a cougar to her best friend's son. Also amazing.
  19. I did not give you a good definition. Here's better: Salad days definition, a period of youthful inexperience: a man who never lost the immature attitudes of his salad days. I am sorry you're unhappy with me. Is there any way I can do better?
  20. Mark Mortimer was dreamy. Body, eyes, hair, he had the looks!
  21. One of my oldest and dearest friends just gave me the most wonderful gift this weekend. We used to have Sunday night chats in the Delphi Soap Opera Form when I ran it. He's done a great deal of organizing, etc. of AW clips & has uploaded as much to YT as has Eddie Drueding or anyone else. Here's what I can share with you. It will open out to be several pages of YT clips. Begins with his text as a preface: I posted these in another spot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lorna just seemed to be the preferable choice for Felicia's daughter to me. There were times when I thought they would go with Lisa, times when I thought they would go with Jenna but Lorna seemed "endgame". Did Swajeski write with Ellen Weston at GL? I think she wrote some at GL because I think she wrote my absolute favorite Otalia scene. Of course, that would not have been Weston! It would have been Wheeler or Hurst. I asked Jill who wrote it & she told me Swajeski did. The scene I'm thinking of is in the graveyard where Olivia finally just bellows out, unable to hold her feelings back anymore, "I'm in love with you!" And, Natalia ends up replying in kind. If Wheeler or Hurst had written it I think Jill would have told me. Every night Jill & Wheeler went over Otalia's lines for the next day. They were that devoted to that couple. Of course, that writing team was doing so much work, so fast, every day, that they were crazed. Oh, sorry, I fell back into talking about GL again! My oops. We were talking about AW.
  22. I wonder if the Peldon sisters are still working.
