  1. RIP William Wintersole died Nov. 7, 2019 (88) who appeared as Y&R's "Mitchell" for over 20 years RIP John Callahan died Mar. 29, 2020 who appeared, probably most famously as AMC's Edmund Grey, also acted on DOOL, also was married to & had a daughter with Eva La Rue, also “Santa Barbara” and “Falcon Crest” passed away at his Palm Springs home Saturday night reports Variety. As of now, his death is attributed to a stroke and not any complication of the coronavirus.
  2. If I remember correctly, TPTB didn't get much notice before the last episode, so that scrambled to wrap things up quickly which is a shame. They had a month to wrap things up. No more. They asked for 2 months instead of just one. And, they asked to have Beverlee come in for two days. It was thought that what Bev did when she left GL was a penalty that she paid where they would not let her go to Goutman.
  3. For years there was a story that Bridget and JFP went up against each other, where Bridget was against Anne Howard Bailey (HW) & SB & NBC were against each other & NBC had locked Bridget out of the studio, ... Supposedly Bridget & JFP had a knock-down fall-out fight, ... But, in reality there was no "battle". Bridget just got to the podium first & made a gracious speech, while JFP looked like she had a miserable expression on her face.
  4. Kim Zimmer had a particularly strong family unit, years in New Jersey, she was the lead in multiple shows, her husband A.C. was a strong Director, almost always employed, and now they have the youngest, Jake, who is very talented!
  5. I cannot imagine the Dash storyline being more offensive than Eden's rape! Eden's rape surely was worse than anything else put on at that time.
  6. Amber Tamblyn is married to David Cross. They may have a child.
  7. The 4 different CCs drove me bonkers. Surely they could have worked that out better! I loved Cruz & Eden, loved Robin, loved the Dobsons, loved Gina, loved Santana, Eden's rape was horrific, loved Lane Davies, ... I thought it was wildly out of proportion that NBC made Robin give up both time & money so she could be "The Princess Bride". If you ever have the chance to read, Cary Elwes book about the movie, do so. Back then I lived in Rocky Face, GA, which at the time was "The Carpet Capital of the World". It is no longer. Lane Davies was from Dalton, GA. Every summer he took time off to go & do Shakespeare. Such a talented man! Now he has two sons & they do Shakespeare with him. I loved Mason & Julia. I am currently surprised that she's going to get married. The You Tube clip of SB winning their first Emmy is so fine! That whole cast just goes wild! One of the few people I never got into on SB was Zimmer; she just didn't seem to fit.
  8. Yes, I found Hitopah.
  9. I always thought Heather could emote anything.
  10. I wish I could find the hilarity of "Hitohah"! My brother used to point out how funny my mother used to find this!
  11. I can absolutely see JER(eilly) doing writing on "The Doctors". My favorite people were Althea & Gerald Gordon. He bellowed her name - always.
  12. I love Jodie & I love her attire & I love having THE DOCTOR back & I am fine with the music. Gosh, I'm sorry it's not a happy time for you! Why?!
  13. Another World's Constance Ford was remembered with small candles put up by friends and fans who felt a great loss when she died (Ada) on February 26 at the age of 69. Remembered as a tough but compassionate woman who never failed to tell it like it was, she will definitely be missed.
  14. Fifth Street Fire! Loss of Laura Bell Bundy!
  15. As funny as could be, the soap that would go! Hitohah! Harding Lemay
  16. AW was an ATWT not a sister soap.
  17. Barbara Morgenroth & Leonard Kantnor were the 2 final writers. They were given very oddball scripts to work on. I knew Barbara in the soap opera newsgroup RATS. She was very vocal, open, etc. She was an orthodox Jew. She was very political. She was against Bill Clinton and his having fans in Mogidishu & helicopters there. They had some poisoning going on. They now have "retro TV" covering some of it. Oh, Imagine!
  18. Hooray for iconic "Whitney Houston" books and for "Queen".
