  1. Now, you have covered just about everything! (1) No one really knows what the outcome was but we have to guess that the Dobsons won big-time. (2) I figure their settlement was huge. (3) They certainly seemed to be able to retire to thrie leisure. Bridget has been a painter ever since they moved to Atlanta. And, when they did move to Atlanta they built an enormous mansion. Driving around it required covering a block! And, yes, that had to be more than just Pamela! Personally I thought it was a great loss to the industry that they didn't get back in!
  2. We-ell, if you get a kick out of saying that, I cannot stop you but it happens not to be true. I've not posted anything out of the Mary Stuart book, or out of No End to Her, or any revisiting of Aggie, or of Whistling Girl either. That only leaves the very little bit it I typed up from Debbi Morgan's Intro and Preface before I became bored with it. Really a very trivial amount --- and most assuredly not a spamming amount, goodness, no.
  3. Gina and Brandon were really sweet. I'll never forget his winning his Emmy & jumping straight up into the air before he began speaking! Everyone was so happy for him!
  4. dragonflies don't let them put you down! I'm reading 4 books at a time. re-reading Aggie's memoir. Picked it up again the other day & am almost through it for a second time. Not as bothered by errors this go-round. Both of Me by Mary Stuart No End to Her by Martha Nochimson: Soap Opera and the Female Subject (SB's Julia & Mason on the cover & illustrations) Whistling Girl by Ann Marcus The Monkey on my Back by Debbi Morgan
  5. Yes, Paul I verified posting just what you said.
  6. I loved both Eden and Robin. I just wasn't fond of CG.
  7. It was tough that NBC penalized Robin monetarily over The Princess Bride. She should have been able to be in that show without a money penalty! No one else had a monetary penalty. No matter what it remains one of my favorite shows. I have it on DVD. And, I have Cary Elwes anniversary book, As You Wish.
  8. What in the world was the clash between the Dobsons and Roscoe Borne?! Was that one of the times when Borne just walked off of a set? How many shows did he do that off of? Jim Thomason off AMC? SB's Quinn Harding? OLTL? Y&R? DOOL? PSSN? GL? ATWT? City? RH?
  9. He was good as an attorney & he was involved in Caroline's art gallery & he played tennis. Did he have a romance? After AW he was on that prime time show Providence with Melina and with Tyne Daley as a Social Worker.
  10. Thank you, @kalbir! Royce was a very exciting role.
  11. Christopher Schemering's Soap Encyclopedia indicates Sam's law partner Ben Grant who was married to Ellen. They had two children, teens, Jill and David. Are they these people? These people are listed in Somerset.
  12. I am a big fan of both of them. Beverlee was a complete package. Carmen was the Chief!
  13. Love Joanna Johnson & so proud of her for coming out of the closet early on! So proud of her now for being 3rd Exec. Producer.
  14. repetition of 7th 1966-67 AW 7th 1967-68 AW 2nd 1968-69 AW 3rd 1969-70 AW Bay City 5th/AW Somerset 15th 1970-71 AW Bay City 4th/AW Somerset 13th 1971-72 AW 6th 1972-73 AW 3rd 1974-75 AW 2nd 1975-76 AW 2nd 1976-77 AW 2nd 1977-78 AW 2nd 1978-79 AW 8th repetition of 8th, etc.
  15. I got accustomed to Carmen Duncan in one way only --- and that was as "The Chief". She got a solid handle on that aspect of Iris. Now I'm turned around about that. What was Chris Bruno doing that kept him from playing Sam? And, when did they bring Mitch Longley on? I saw him give a demonstration of how he used his lower torso to make it seem could could walk --- and it was brilliant. He constantly picked up his legs & repositioned them to give the illusion of being able to move them. It worked, too!
  16. Some of us have spoken of this as a parralelism & some of us were disappointed that Aggie didn't bring these pairs of "dames" up in her memoir. I thought Aggie would mention them. So did some others. 🎵 Ada & Rachel; Mona & Erica; Carla & Sadie; Ava & Kate; who am I leaving out? There's another pair. Aggie had them down pat!
  17. Still Image of Susan Flannery in Dallas, playing Leslie Stewart
  18. Thank you for filling in that gap for me! Quite the minx, well said. I had a crush on her too!
  19. No. She was very acclimated to RS and Mary and pretty much the whole cast. Robin was a good Rachel. When VW first came over Connie wasn't too keen on her. After just a little time, though, Connie & Vicky formed a close bond. Robin is in this clip. Unfortunately the visual acuity is not as great as it could be. It's 1968, July.
  20. Has anyone ever heard that SFT did not pay and/or credit Aggie for the bible she wrote for them?
