  1. Dallas didn't take a dark turn in 1989/90. Remember too that CBS was a mess in primetime that season.
  2. @Speed Racer @GL95 Trying to figure out real ages vs. SORAS can hurt one's head, but I'm trying anyway ☺️ Phillip was introduced in 1977 as a child and graduated high school in 1983. He was classmates with Rick, who was born on screen in 1970. Based on that, Phillip real birth year would be 1970 but he was aged 5 years, as was Rick. Alan-Michael was born on screen in 1981 and returned in 1987 as a teen. IIRC Alan-Michael turned 18 in 1989 so he was aged 10 years.
  3. That lead to Holly not reacting at all when she witnessed Roger slapping Blake.
  4. Corrected that for you 😊 For all we know, maybe someone at CBS liked Penny Peyser. Remember she was in the main cast of Crazy Like a Fox and the miniseries The Blue and the Gray.
  5. Y&R best eras to me were 1984-first half 1986, 1990-first half 1994, second half 1997-end 1998.
  6. Hahaha. Once again BtG letting us all know its not grandma's stories from 1986.
  7. Go on Nicole with your bad self and get your groove back. Not to mention the R&B slow jams in the background. That love scene today was off the charts heat generating, damn.
  8. Hahaha, Nikki getting her cougar on. What would be really funny is if Eric Braeden had scenes with some of the no talents. He would totally take them back to acting school.
  9. Eric Braeden and Clifton Davis in scenes together should be good.
  10. The Young And The Restless | Victor VS Jack "I'll Crush You!" (1999)
  11. Silk Press Sheila would not dare to mess with Victor. He would call her by her full name sounding like one word "Danalesliethomas".
  12. Andre was wise to Hayley's game and he called her out.
  13. Y&R hasn't been the same since John Abbott death nearly 20 years ago.
  14. I think most of us at this point are either hate watching or watching out of habit.
  15. Dallas was trying to get the Dynasty audience.
  16. If I was to compare BtG female rivalries to the best of Bill Bell, I'd say Dani/Hayley would be Katherine/Jill and Kat/Eva would be a mashup of Caroline/Brooke and early Olivia/Dru.
  17. There have been four adult Adams since the 2008 SORAS, and Mark Grossman has lasted the longest (7 years this May).
  18. I haven't seen the 1983/84 episodes in a long time, so I can't remember if we saw Sue Ellen and Peter in a love scene or in bed together. I don't think anybody wanted to see that though.
  19. Re: 1994 Alan casting, I'm pretty sure Jill had a friend in mind for Alan but the friend was either not interested or not available. I ruled out Nicolas Coster as he was on As the World Turns then and Jed Allan as he was recurring on 90210 then, so the friend I think Jill wanted was either Roscoe Born or Lane Davies.
  20. Aaron Spelling hit factory during the 1980s. This list does not include one season and done shows. 1980/81: The Love Boat (5th), Fantasy Island (17th), Hart to Hart (23rd), Dynasty (first season), Charlie's Angels (final season), Vega$ (final season) 1981/82: The Love Boat (14th), Hart to Hart (15th), Dynasty (19th), T.J. Hooker (28th, first season), Fantasy Island (30th) 1982/83: Dynasty (5th), The Love Boat (9th), Hart to Hart (17th), T.J. Hooker (below the Top 30), Fantasy Island (below the Top 30), Matt Houston (first season) 1983/84: Dynasty (3rd), Hotel (9th, first season), The Love Boat (17th), T.J. Hooker (below the Top 30), Matt Houston (below the Top 30), Hart to Hart (final season), Fantasy Island (final season) 1984/85: Dynasty (#1), Hotel (12th), The Love Boat (below the Top 30), T.J. Hooker (final season), Matt Houston (final season) 1985/86: Dynasty (7th), Hotel (22nd), The Colbys (first season), The Love Boat (final season) 1986/87: Dynasty (24th), Hotel (below the Top 30), The Colbys (final season) 1987/88: Dynasty (below the Top 30), HeartBeat (first season), Hotel (final season) 1988/89: Dynasty (final season), HeartBeat (final season)
  21. I don't believe 1983/84 Hotel was a better show than Knots Landing. Despite Hotel finish at 9th for the season and being the highest-rated rookie show, I don't feel it was a breakout hit. 1983/84 Aaron Spelling hit factory was Dynasty (3rd), Hotel (9th), The Love Boat (17th), T.J. Hooker (below the Top 30), Matt Houston (below the Top 30), Hart to Hart (final season), Fantasy Island (final season).
  22. BtG letting us know its not grandma's stories from 1986.
  23. Kat needs to be knocked down a peg or two. Nicole needs to be reminded that she kicked Ted to the curb.
  24. That, plus budget mode.
