I dislike Candiace, but I also find her fascinating. She’s a psychologically rich (and very smart, albeit with huge blind spots) character. You definitely see the “hurt people hurt people” aspect of her cruelty. But zero growth is a challenge.

Camp can be great, but I prefer it with a lot less elbow-in-the-ribs than RC serves up. Hard to pull off without seeming simply amateurish, especially with DAYS’ budget. (And it’s still amateurish a lot of the time, even with all the nudges.)

Vika/Penko lived up to its promise mostly. Ostapenko can have these long stretches when she’s unplayable and you just have to weather the storm and wait for the errors and self-doubt to creep in.
