Gotta say, as campy as Brenda’s breakdown scene at the photo shoot was, VM was pretty wonderful in the aftermath, I thought, upon a rewatch:

B&B has a way of being godawful for weeks at a time, then stumbling upon something potentially brilliant (Sheila and Deacon). They’ll eff it up, though. I love Kimberlin’s hair.

Totally. Not one story with promise. Previously a few of JG’s stories had unrealized potential. The ideas were there for an entertaining show. Now I don’t even see that.

Tamara and Vanessa had the same hairstyle lol.

The ADD on this show is still hilarious. Stories start with fanfare and get dropped or backburnered. And Ridge and Brooke are basically the Buttinskys. Going around from story to story, screaming J’accuse! and wagging their fingers at different characters—Justin, Quinn, Sheila, Finn, Carter, Eric, now Deacon.

Ditto. And her original run too. I loved her. For me, Sheila on Y&R and Annie on GL during their reigns of terror. I was riveted by them. And Bev’s Alex and Roger on GL (although her workload wound up running Bev off the show).
