  1. And Frankie Beverly! Somebody knew what the [!@#$%^&*] they was doin'!
  2. Let's see Kellyanne "alternative facts" her way out of that!
  3. It took going through four years of hell with Donald Trump to appreciate again a true leader giving the people words of comfort. As Joni Mitchell once said, you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. I agree! Splitting the GOP in two could only help the Democratic Party going forward. And they say the Obamas are ghetto!
  4. Chances are, if it had been Trump's second inauguration and not Biden and Harris' first, there would've been no mention at all of the pandemic or its' victims. Just a military parade and Toby Keith singing "I'm Proud to Be an American" while standing on some Black men's necks. I don't have to watch that tape to know it's just more lies and self-flattery. Trump's never going to be the kind of president his apologists kept hoping he'd be. Take it, Mariah:
  5. Agree. I don't know how successful Biden's plan for combating the pandemic will be, but you know what? In a way, I don't care. I'm just glad to have someone in D.C. who wants to do something to stop it rather than just throw up their hands and say, "It is what it is."
  6. Chuck Todd: "If Biden doesn't get it right, he will have failed in the job he was elected to do." Oh, and Donald Trump has done a remarkable job keeping us all alive and safe. Give me a damn break. I really, really, REALLY wish Todd and his ilk would go the [!@#$%^&*] away. They're just as culpable in the weakening of American democracy as Trump, QAnon, the right-wing domestic terrorists and everyone else.
  7. You better believe I'm keeping an eye on the WH. I wouldn't put it past Trump to have vacated early so he wouldn't be around when the damn place blew up.
  8. Agree. Its' initial concept -- "The View" for tired mommies? -- was shaky and had to be abandoned almost quickly. Then, once they did, I feel like the viewing public had already moved on.
  9. Whatever. His pillows weren't worth s**t anyway.
  10. To tell a lie, and to tell it so convincingly that others believe you, is one thing. But, when your lies lead people to ransack federal property and place innocent people in jeopardy, regardless of your exact words or intentions, you stop being just a liar, and start being a clear and present danger to everyone around you. And it is NOT the first time Trump's words have led others to commit desperate acts with the assumption that they had his implied approval either. Just ask the individuals who attempted to abduct Gretchen Whitmer. Trump's legal team will argue that he never explicitly told the crowd at the "Stop the Steal" rally to commit acts of terror at the U.S. Capitol, but if "prior bad acts" mean anything at impeachment trials, then Trump's record of volatile and dangerous statements, and the results they produced among his most extremist supporters, must be brought before the Senate as well. Twitter and other social media platforms have banned Trump, not because he's an inveterate liar and they dislike him, but because his lies have literally gotten people killed.
  11. At this point, the Trump administration is just doing random s**t, like an Arby's employee who's actually finished for the day, but who still has ten minutes before he can clock out.
  12. It would've been so easy to hit that fifty-percent mark, too. All he had to do, especially when this pandemic started, was show compassion for someone other than himself. But, he couldn't, and he wouldn't. That's what voting for a raging, incurable narcissist gets you. If nothing else, the last four years -- hell, pretty much Trump's life -- was the pinnacle of male, white mediocrity.
  13. I'll bet even Ivana and Marla got invites.
  14. Poor Jacob's finding out the hard way that meth and violent uprisings against one's government do not mix.
  15. America's Sweetheart, Riley June Williams, is on the run: https://www.npr.org/sections/insurrection-at-the-capitol/2021/01/18/957979421/fbi-seeking-woman-who-may-have-stolen-speaker-pelosis-laptop?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=npr&utm_term=nprnews
  16. I wonder whether they'll keep the digs at the end toward Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson. ;)
  17. Brandon Fellows: "This one is going to get me incriminated." And you posted it anyway. As deadly as this attack was to our democracy, at the same time, a lot of the footage that people took of others just roaming around the halls looks like the stupidest, most ill-organized parent-teacher night ever.
  18. Or, just long enough to uncover some more of Q's quackpot theories.
  19. Here's one Florida resident's reaction to the news: I still think there's something fishy about that.
  20. Now THAT has to STING, lol.
  21. Oh, well, Joshie, there's always Motel 6. (They'll leave the light on for you.) https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/534583-hotel-cancels-hawley-fundraiser-after-deadly-capitol-riot-we-are-horrified
  22. I remember when the RNC released its' diagnostics report after Obama's victory, pinning the GOP's failure on its' inability to reach out to "communities of color." They didn't heed that report, and now, it looks as if that decision's coming back to bite them.
  23. So, what happens if you're gay already and you take the vaccine? Do you become Peter Allen?
  24. I shouldn't revel in others' misfortunes, but it'd be such delicious irony to see Leticia James and Fani Willis (and other WOC) take down Trump's phony ass. I figured we'd get around to blaming movies, TV and video games for the attack before too long.
  25. Unfortunately, in this ever-changing world in which we're living, as soon as we exalt individuals like Daniel Hodges to hero status, we find ways to tear them down. I'm sure it won't be too long before we find out something really salacious about him -- like, he likes to beat the hell out of women while high on crank at illegal cock-fighting matches, or something.
