For me, this one hits particularly close to home. As y'all know, Mama Khan has become a QAnon believer. Yesterday, she remarked, "All I really cared about...was that Trump would remove the pedophiles." (She also brought up the "watermark theory" that's been floating around, the one even Glenn Beck had to dismiss because it's just so ludicrous on its' face). We'd already had our post-election blowout, and I wasn't in the mood for another, so I just let her talk. But, c'mon. As if Trump would ever CARE about extinguishing pedos from government. The s.o.b. couldn't even "drain the swamp," and he had no intention to, either.

It literally brings tears to my eyes to read that statement from Biden. How I have missed this kind of sensibility from our leaders.

I truly fear what could happen between now and January, because, mark my words, Donald Trump ain't going away quietly.

Agree. But it's like what Cliff Huxtable (yes, that Cliff Huxtable) once said: it's all in the presentation. FDR's New Deal was pretty damn socialistic, but just try and suggest taking away Social Security and Medicare to the same folks who hate Socialism and don't want it in these United States.

Which is why I have no time for, or give zero [!@#$%^&*] about, Princess Sparkle Pony or her antics. We've just battled the devil himself for the soul of this country, and even though we won (and by a lot), we still have tremendous work to do just the correct the messes that the Trump administration will leave behind on their way out. The last damn thing we need now are progressives reverting back to "Burn It Down!" mode (even if they've proven that that's all they know how to do) before the new team has even officially moved into 1600 Penn. This is why I say everyone (on the Left AND on the Right) who thinks we should be all "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)" right now with Trump supporters can go straight to hell. Trumpers weren't just individuals who merely disagreed with us politically. These were folks with pure hatred and malice in their hearts toward us; who were being egged on by their leader to seek out, defame, discredit, and even maim and destroy us. And you want me to give peace a chance??
