  1. I want this show to work. I really do. The showrunners have to listen to their audience. Without us, they ultimately have nothing.
  2. Right! He's a good looking man. But in my opinion doesn't carry the style and refinement that Ted was originally originated.
  3. Wow! Generations lasted two years. Will this?
  4. Indicating that black men aren't supposed to be seen as good or refined.
  5. Sounds to me like Ted will be darker and less refined. But why?
  6. BIG MISTAKE letting go of this classy version of Ted.
  7. She's my glamorous Raven. Current Ted is Sky. Class, style, debonair, and turtleneck.
  8. How is Andre a desinated playboy? Playboys want sex only. He just smashes Dani and pines for Ashley.
  9. Missed opportunity. LOOKS! Not necessarily temperament. Besides, Raven wasn't a loser, but Dani sure is.
  10. I do. Sky wearing his turtleneck. His style and class. His good looks. Raven with her beauty, style, and wardrobe.
  11. As in THE EDGE OF NIGHT.
  12. Ted and Nicole could've been the Sky and Raven of this show.
  13. A waste of time means thinking that a select people in the audience wants the show to fail. It's the showrunners who have to get their act together and continously sell their product.
  14. Again, a waste of time. BTG will or will not bomb because of the showrunners FIRST. No one else.
  15. Interesting that you noticed an uneasiness about Derek having his picture taken because Andre showed the same uneasiness in the second week of the show I believe, when his cousin Kat wanted to take a picture of him.
  16. Accusing people of wanting the show to bomb is a waste of time and carries no relevance to begin with. The audience are not the official writers, the showrunners are. It's like a supermarket rolling out a new product to consumers asking them to buy it. OK, the product is good and consumers have spent their money on it. If you want us to keep spending our money on it, you must maintain the product's goodness. Every. Step. Of. The. Way.
  17. They started out promising but looking like they ended up becoming lazy. I don't know what they're waiting for but waiting is something they cannot afford for obvious reasons. Time is most clearly of the essence.
  18. Part of my point exactly. 😆
  19. These unexpected character connections and still not a proper father/son connection for Ted and Martin. They should've been amongst the very first.
  20. Loads of potential exists with this show but it's like they're not stepping outside of the box, but instead, are operating the kind of vibe that soaps ran on 20+ years ago. I don't think it's going to work when all is said and done. I think people want something more different now, and I can't emphasize enough about the pacing.
  21. The first two weeks were on point. It has definitely now slowed down and the ratings have dropped. I meant what I said a long time ago about momentum and pacing.
  22. Today was the kind of episode we did not need, especially for a less than two month old production. Can't have too many of these going forward. The momentum and the pacing has to remain on point.
  23. Someway, somehow, I believe in them as potential characters who can mix well with the rest of the cast. Proper writing for them is obviously key.
  24. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a stunt, and then karma hits and he strokes out for real some time in the future. I would never toy with medical conditions. Or Lucy Coe in her heyday.
  25. JR and Sue Ellen three. All the way down to the alcohol consumption.
