This show hasn't really had my full attention in a good long while. I've been kind of off and on with it. But this game of "cat and mouse" storyline really has me paying attention. Smitty's and Jacob's spidey senses are tingling, and they are in hot pursuit of "The Elusive 6". Although they don’t realize it directly. This story feels like a primetime show plot and I'm loving it.

I, too, wondered what Joey's involvement was in this plot. Is there some very specific reason why he's in this? The other five men are more easy to explain. Vernon and Ted because they are Martin's father and grandfather. Bill because he's a former member of the family and wanted by Vernon for dirty work purposes. Elon and Marcel I'm pretty certain were wanted by Vernon for the same reasons and were both likely given a sizable amount of $$$ for their participation. Joey? Maybe it's about money for him too?

I enjoyed Bill's and Dani's very adult conversation today. I really can't wait to find out what "The Legion of Doom" are working so hard to cover up on Martin's behalf. And why do I get the feeling that one of the innocents, either Smitty or Jacob, are going to get hurt. You know that soap staple with these kinds of storylines of getting too close to the truth.

I'm expecting a big dud overall just like they've done with everything else. Hype it up to really look like something and then it fizzles due to a lackluster outcome.

Ted has a place in this? When all the while almost no scenes EVER with his son and no feeling whatsoever that they were even family. OK.

Looks like June's shockingly expensive looking claws might've been another misstep by the showrunners, unless it was a plot point, but I doubt it.

And I suppose the writers shifted gears on the two of them. A couple of months ago when they were on they were being pulled into the Joey/Doug nonsense and they disappeared shortly afterwards.

Would be PASSIONS-style devilish if it was Andre's. You know, like some kind of twisted flashback that this show failed to show the audience? And at this rate with THIS show?

The structure of it all makes no sense. June is gone but she'll be back in about a month or two to resume her homelessness. Same for Elon and Marcel. They and their storyline are back after a month and a half or more. That length of time just makes you forget all about it.

Well it would be ill-advised for her to just tell the audience to, as you put it, chill the F out, since it's the audience who will ultimately make or break this thing.

MVJ's little tweet is funny to me honestly, because it personally tells me a lot.

To me, Elon has the potential of being somewhat of an OG Ted type. Not quite as classy, but having a sense of swag and badassness. First of all, remove those glasses and that cop uniform and dress him in some GQ magazine suit and voila. Someone suggested him being for Leslie. That would be workable because he might humanize her somewhat. Not that he'd be much of a boy scout, but one who understands her a bit more unlike others. But I recall, Elon is still supposed to be married to Jacob's and Luke's mom Darlene though.

I love how posting about characters' absence seems to make them miraculously reappear. As if by magic.

No dead horses beaten at all, because you're right. Utterly pointless.

I'm really liking Kat as well but for some reason I didn't expect HER to be the standout, but she is. She's almost reminding of a young black "Tracy Quartermaine." Sarcasm and all. Also, whenever Tracy disliked or perceived someone as a threat or enemy, she went on a mission to get rid of them. Kat's doing exactly that.

I like Chelsea and Madison. Two very pretty black women as a potential couple. But I really wish this show would've showcased two very handsome black men as a couple instead.

Somebody brought this up elsewhere which emphasizes why this NuTed appears as such a weakling. Why is Kat doing what HE should be doing? And that's everything he can to rid him and his family of this crazy woman. Kat is doing all kinds of things she shouldn't do but now I understand her more. She can't count on her father to eliminate this woman because he's a wimp. He's been too busy inviting her into his home and serving her drinks and offering her invitations to birthday parties. WIMP!!!!

Thotting aside, Vanessa finally acted more like a spitfire in these scenes. This is more of how she should be.
