He likely sees Ashley as a potential conquest. I'm also not surprised to see Ashley as this sweet as apple pie type character while almost everyone else is being orchestrated as being trash. Dani and Leslie are being written similarly. Two crazy women dumped by men who chose other women over them. Bill is a cheater, Hayley the homewrecker, Ted the possible cheater and deadbeat (I'm so disappointed in this possibility), his nephew is a young manho,the entire Dupree family seems callous and only interested in reputation and image.

What makes the Leslie/Eva revenge campaign extra creepy is that they are about to make life hell for two innocent people who have not done to them what they are alleging, providing the twin angle comes to fruition. Something isn't coming together about this. She even mentioned to Eva how Ted just walked right past them at the hospital which would be odd if they shared a past. I think she's lying about something.
