He sees nothing in her at all in terms of an actual relationship IMO. The true definition of a playboy has always been clear. A man who bounces around seeking sexual pleasure and nothing more. He likely sees Ashley as a potential conquest. I'm also not surprised to see Ashley as this sweet as apple pie type character while almost everyone else is being orchestrated as being trash. Dani and Leslie are being written similarly. Two crazy women dumped by men who chose other women over them. Bill is a cheater, Hayley the homewrecker, Ted the possible cheater and deadbeat (I'm so disappointed in this possibility), his nephew is a young manho,the entire Dupree family seems callous and only interested in reputation and image.

What makes the Leslie/Eva revenge campaign extra creepy is that they are about to make life hell for two innocent people who have not done to them what they are alleging, providing the twin angle comes to fruition. They said this show was going to be crazy and wild. It's already taking shape in so many ways.
