@Errol Do you know if this is going to be promoted on other ABC shows? (GMA, The View, GMA 3rd hour)? Or Kelly and Ryan? I know that Kelly and Ryan is a syndicated show and not on ABC. This milestone deserves promotion and so far I haven't seen where it will be cross promoted, which is a shame. 15,000 episodes deserves to be celebrated.

I like Robert Scott Wilson and miss him. Happy to hear he will be back soon. Cady McClain was off in her scenes. Not impressed with her acting choices. I don't know why Melissa Reeves wasn't there. I'd have preferred Melissa to be in this storyline. Billy Flynn is doing great work. He's nailing it. Emmy worthy for sure.

It's not a good look for Frank. Several actors have now publicly stated how they got their jobs and the characters have not been particularly popular. Whatever happened to the writers creating a character, they hold auditions and then make a decision based on seeing many people for the role. Now, all it takes is a text to the EP. SMH.

It's great to be getting some first hand knowledge of behind the scenes stuff from Sharon Gabet. She's a riot.

@JAS0N47It seems as though Days is all caught up after the 2 week Olympic and 1 day preemption as todays episode was clearly meant for Friday the 13th of May. Any idea how they caught up so fast? I was under the impression that with the preemptions, they wouldn't get caught up for months. Did they re-edit?

Don't you just want Ridge to say.......Sheila will you get the hell out of this room! Why the F is Sheila still in that room? I get why but it is so stupid. Come on. This is why soaps lose ratings.

I dread what's ahead for Days. Even if Ron was fired TODAY (which I know won't happen), the show is taping into October so we can assume that Ron has already written November sweeps so even if he were fired now, we're still stuck seeing his crap for the rest of the year.

I just can't with this show anymore. It's so stupid. I don't want the cast and crew to lose their jobs but I was thrilled to see that Days was in last place in the 18-49 demo in all of daytime last week. The show is ridiculous. Bloody cakes, Sarah is now a 5 year old. The devil b.s. Days deserves its last place rating. Please fire Ron Carlivati. He's out of ideas that can get the ratings up. It's very frustrating as a long time fan to see what is happening to this show and Corday as usual will sit back and watch the destruction happen.

Too bad that there was the falling out with Susan Helmut and Liza. There was a crack in that family. Liza hasn't really said much.

What could Y&R and GH have submitted that was worse than what Days submitted? SMH.

Anyone who defends Days should watch today's show and realize why it has become the joke of daytime. The show is ridiculous. It is soooooo bad. Cringeworthy. I don't know what else to say other than I agree with so many comments above. I get that a soap has to be out there at times because they are on 5 days a week. But I have never seen Days this bad. I can't even chuckle anymore at Susan, who use to be entertaining but is now just annoying. And Johnny as the devil is so stupid. Not entertaining at all. Days has become a show that we're all laughing at because it is so BAD. New writers, ASAP.

RE; Gottlieb. You cannot go by when Gottlieb first appeared in the credits. She was influential well before her name first appeared as Executive Producer. She was in and out of the OLTL studio part time when she got the job because she was finishing work on her production company projects and couldn't devote herself full time to OLTL. She came to production meetings and writers meetings when she had time and met with the actors and design folks. It wasn't until she could devote herself full time that she wanted her name to appear in the credits.

I'm looking to get rid of a bunch of Soap Opera Digest magazines (1979 to the mid 90's) and Soap Opera Weekly. Does anyone know of a site where soap opera memorabilia is given away? (Except for shipping costs). Glad to pass it all on. I thought (back in the day) that I would re-read these magazines so I saved them but I have no interest in re-reading them.
