I’m not a he, thank you very much. So glad you found a friend with Liberty. Moving on, Days is still lethargic and slow. There’s no story, just scenes. It’s a chore to watch each episode. Nothing really happens. Characters talk. Where are the cliffhangers that get the viewer to tune in tomorrow? They are non existent at Days. Reddit has them at Snores of our Lives.

Shows how much I care. 🙄 Another very dull episode of Days today. June 4, 2026. They produce scenes with no real story. It’s OK to mock me when I say Days is not in Peacock’s Top 10 like it used to be. It’s the truth!! Days is a mess!

Just looked back on this thread. You know that Days is really, really bad when the 2 gossip people Jane and Carolyn can’t get their gossip straight about Albert Alarr from years ago. June 2026. Days is a mess!

More dull Days episodes this week. At least breakdown writers are only involved with their assigned episodes. They do not write long term story. The awful combo of Cwikly/ Ford are involved with every episode, unfortunately. But, change is on the way! Thank god. Days is all over the place. Who is Destiny? Why do we care that she died? Another example of these inept headwriters not having a plan. Monday they had the Green’s unseen mother as the central story and Tuesday into today we had Destiny (who??) as their main story. lol I have very high hopes for Ryan Quan. It’s going to be a LONG year. And poor Days still isn’t in Peacock’s Top 10, like it used to be when Ron was writing it.

You can already predict that the breakdown was bad.

Poor Days is so lifeless! As someone said in the May discussion, the show drags. It was a longggg 42 minutes today. I thought the show must be close to being over today and paused it to see the time and it was only 16 minutes in. It’s so dull. And like I said last week, they just put scenes together and call it a show. I like Mark, but out of nowhere todays A storyline is Kat and Mark about their mother. How did that become the top storyline? Isn’t Paulina the Mayor? Oh sure, she has time to offer to run Sweet Bits. Abe is already kissing Lexie (who has a mustache)? Theo desperately needs to be recast! John Paul Lavoisier is out of control with his acting style. It’s very irritating. Welcome to current Days. Throw scenes that make no sense together and call it a show. Today was agonizing.

I’ve been saying for months that Cwikly/Ford are a disaster. This preview proves it. Dull. Boring. Thank god Cwikly decided to retire. Long overdue.

Days just has scenes now. No A stories or B stories. They put a bunch of scenes together and call it a show. Sad.

Bless his heart but the actor (don’t know his name, don’t care) who plays Aaron is not cut out for soaps. This episode won’t be on his Emmy reel. 🤣

Excellent news! I wish that Ford had retired too but any kind of change is welcomed. The show has been so lifeless with Cwikly/Ford. Ryan Quan can’t start soon enough!

Days should be ashamed of their Memorial Day episode! Absolutely disgusting that Days tried to do Memorial Day and failed. Having Philip dress up and be Semper Fi and recount his anti Semper Fi acts was ridiculous. Always faithful, always loyal. Then they did a Memorial Day board??? What a slap in the face to those who did serve and lost their lives. Do better next time, Days.

It never made any sense whatsoever that Cwikly/Ford had to use Carlivatis outlines for months. They would have to pay Ron and also pay these inept women. Thanks to Ron for clearing that up, finally. Donna Bridges always insisted that Ron’s outlines were used for months after his name disappeared. SMH. That being said, Days is so boring. Cwikly/Ford have been there for well over a year and the show is a snoozefest. Where are the cliffhangers? These writers only know how to tickle the audience into thinking there is something big ahead and then nothing happens. Days is in the worst shape in its history. It’s never in Peacock’s Top 10 anymore. The show was regularly in the Top 10 when Ron was headwriter. Maxam has to get on the headwriters to step it up or begone. Yeah, I know they are about a year ahead and what we are seeing now was done months and months ago. I cannot imagine another year of this boring writing.

I miss the Days when Days was good and in the Top 10 daily on Peacock. The Ron Carlivati days. The show is so boring now. Sigh. Lexi back from the dead is the story no one requested. Snore.

It’s such a slap in the face to Michele Val Jean to praise every single writer except Jamey. Michele reads, edits and approves every single breakdown. We know that this person hates Jamey for whatever reason. Jamey will never write an acceptable breakdown in that person’s opinion but somehow his breakdowns get approved by the showrunner. Imagine that. 🤣😆

Thursday was a snore. Very weird editing and nothing stood out except for the Choi woman getting hysterical. Skip it.

Binged 3 episodes. Finally! Something interesting from these headwriters after a year of nothing. But, who wanted Lexi back? She’d be about 99th on my list of characters I’d want to return. And Days has to recast Theo. Cannot stand this actors interpretation of Theo. James Reynolds does great work as always. Jackee - she’s better at comedy. Leave it at that. Tuesday was a snore. Back to the Cwikly/Ford just random scenes they favor. Wed was good, except for the god awful Theo actor and of course Jackee’s ‘acting’. The new Lexi is good, but again, the character isn’t one that was at the top of the list for bringing back.

Great choice if Jess wasn’t available.

Should have known better. I thought the Thursday cliffhanger was a turning point for the inept Headwriting team of Cwikly/Ford after a year of writing scenes. Turns out it was fake. It figures. Days is truly in the worst shape that it has ever been. No real stories. Ken Corday needs to pitch his 63rd plan to save Days to Peacock. And I get that they are almost a year ahead in taping. Shudder at what’s to come.

It literally took Cwikly/Ford a year to have 1 cliffhanger. They are easily the worst headwriters that Days has ever had.

Another great podcast. RSW is easily the hottest guy on Days. He loves Greg. I can see why RSW didn’t have to officially audition for Days. Marnie wanted him, thank god and here we are 12 years later. I love hearing stories that you don’t hear anywhere else. Soapy is a great podcast.

Not a good episode. Lifeless. John-Paul Lavoisier acting like himself. You know how he’s going to say a line before he says it. Not natural at all. He’s a clown. Days is so dull. They put a bunch of scenes together and call it a show. I miss the Days when something happened.

Of course it was a bad Jamey Giddens episode. SMH. Such stupid predictable rhetoric by @Liberty City BTG was great today. I’ve become a fan of Jamey Giddens because of LibertyCity. Keep in mind that Michele Val Jean, Sheila Ducksworth, Julie Hanan Carruthers and all of those Executive Producers listed sign off of Jamey Giddens’ breakdowns before they air. If his breakdowns are so bad, it’s on them to make changes and all accounts say that Michele Val Jean personally wanted Jamey and got him from Days. I’m a fan of Jamey now. Thanks Liberty. I very much enjoyed todays episode of BTG.
