  1. I find Days so dull. There’s no real story. There’s just scenes. Nothing ties the show together. Boring.
  2. Another favorite Monty/Falken Smith real life story is that when the writers strike of ‘81 happened, Monty met with Thom Racina to write the show and allegedly Monty told him that “the bitch (Falken Smith) won’t tell me what the Ice Princess is”. I love it! Who knows if that is true because that is suggesting that the writer had power over the story and didn’t get approval first.
  3. Thanks @Paul Ravenfor those gems. I love hearing about Gloria Monty. I remember several cast members saying that she always wore high heels that made lots of noise when she walked (she was on the short side) and they could hear her coming a mile away and when she came out of the booth onto the studio floor with her heels clicking very fast, they knew someone was gonna get yelled at. lol
  4. I’m of the opinion that Frank should not speak if GH wins in the future. Let Michelle Henry speak. She’s vibrant, she’s been at GH longer than Frank, she has energy. Let him and his anxiety take a back seat.
  5. Then I say step back and let someone else on the Production team who doesn’t have anxiety accept the award with some enthusiasm. I wouldn’t call what he does confronting anxiety.
  6. To me, Frank looked ok but he’s just strange. Always speaks like he doesn’t know where he is and never smiles. No charisma or even excitement at winning Emmys. I find him odd.
  7. Very sweet Leo/Javi scenes today. Good chemistry between the actors.
  8. I wonder if Frank will FINALLY be pissed that Alley Mills called him Frank “Valenti”. Keep her away from GH.
  9. Any day with Leo on is a good day. Enjoyed his scenes with EJ. I don’t like Cwikly/Ford. Their stuff should be much more interesting by now. They’ve been there for months. Nothing is gelling. The show is just a bunch of scenes with nothing really tying anything together.
  10. Cwikly and Ford really have to step it up. I find the show so boring! Maybe it will pick up with the anniversary and returning characters. I find the day to day writing very dull.
  11. Yes, it was Sheri Anderson and her husband and co-headwriter at the time Joseph Manetta who introduced Sarah Shayne. First airdate: 1/20/87.
  12. You are correct. Jack & Lainie Bauer’s first airdate was 1/8/88.
  13. She was back before September. Her influence is only in the directing and acting. Period. She has zero involvement in story or sets. She’s working in the booth with the directors making the camera work the best it can be and she’s working with the actors, who have to sell the boring scripts and try to make the scenes seem interesting.
  14. Yes, Jamey’s crap is airing into 2026. We all know it. You don’t know which episodes he writes the breakdowns for but you try to guess. It’s annoying when you the ‘we all know who wrote it’. The headwriters, Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford sign off on EVERY outline. Every single outline and script.
  15. Um, Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford are responsible for todays episode. They are the headwriters. Ron Carlivati and Jamey Giddens were immediately hired by Michele Val Jean.
  16. I stand by what I said. This blackout is boring! It’s no where near what GL did in 1992. These writers need to be fired, yesterday. I am a friend of a friend of Cwikly. Nice woman, bad headwriter. Cwikly get her and Ford out of there.
  17. Erika Slezak may be listed as recurring, but don’t forget that on her website, it was stated that she signed a short term “contract”. Don’t get all involved about who is ‘contract’. Erika’s own website stated that she signed a contract, short term. My point being that recurring actors might sign a short term contract.
  18. This isn’t your GL 1992 blackout. This blackout is boring!
  19. With all due respect to Sally, as long as the problem, Josh, is still there, nothing will change. This is like putting a small bandaid on a gushing wound.
  20. It’s Wednesday. Nothing is happening. Can we please get to the it’s 1992 and We’re copying Guiding Light’s blackout story?
  21. Thank god they are saving the wedding until a sweeps month. I thought there would be nothing to look forward to! <rolling eyes>.
  22. I’m kinda waiting for Errol to break the news. Mums the word for now.
  23. JFP is not going to pop up in the credits. She’s there as a Producer, uncredited onscreen. Josh now has a Co-EP and it’s not JFP.
  24. Josh now has a Co-Ep, and it’s a familiar name.
