  1. I’ll never forget what Wheeler did to kill our grande dame GL. The evidence is out there for all to see. (Wednesday! Peapack!) And I chuckle at the justification some try to defend her. There is no defense. She was weak. And cried. Alot. Why is it that when strong EP’s (Rauch, Conboy) are in charge, everything is their fault, but when you get a weakling like Wheeler, none of it is her fault, it was all P&G and CBS?
  2. Excellent news! I’ll be watching my Greg. He and Rebecca are hilarious on social media so I’m sure they will kill it on the podcast. Can’t wait!
  3. Wheeler was GL’s killer. She was so unqualified for the job. Remember those ridiculous Wednesday episodes? Harley as a comic book character? Stupid. And those Wednesday episodes were more often than not, the lowest rated episodes of the week. That was Ellen’s idea. What was she thinking??? And then Peapack. Worst idea ever, and that was all Ellen. It was a disaster. None of it made sense. Characters walking out of the woods having a conversation. Thank you to the soap execs who never hired her again.
  4. Wheeler was a disaster! Show killer. She dabbled in producing GL but the mighty cryer ran from GL when Conboy became EP. Crybaby Wheeler couldn’t stand up to Conboy.
  5. Kim is great and real. Met her so many times and she is herself. She laughs so much. Love me some Kim Zimmer.
  6. I remember having lunch with my friend Connie Passalacqua and she told me that JFP and Pam Long will either love each other or hate each other. We all know how that turned out.
  7. The actors all look so bored. I don’t blame them.
  8. Firing Jerry verDorn was another of incompetent Ellen Wheeler’s mistakes. You don’t fire Jerry. You just don’t.
  9. I do like how Kim did not let the most inept EP in the history of soaps, Ellen Wheeler, bully her into taking a paycut in the middle of her contract. Kim showed Wheeler who was the boss.
  10. It’s always interesting how people remember things. I remember that Pam Long gave an interview the week that GL was going off the air and she didn’t remember that she wrote Reva’s post partum depression story that lead to Reva driving off the bridge. ( I’m Coming Bud!!) Pam swore that she didn’t write that. How can you forget writing off Reva Shayne! Pam later backtracked.
  11. This is Ed Scott’s thread and he deserves the accolades. He deserves a great retirement.
  12. Thank you, Errol. People want to make it more than it is. JFP has been working behind the scenes for about a year now on a per diem basis. Only in May did she return full time. She has no story input nor which sets get put up.
  13. Where is the Monica tribute? And now we have to do a Lesley tribute. Come on Frank. History.
  14. To each their own. The fashions on Y&R are questionable at best.
  15. I cannot believe there is a whole storyline about the Abbott house renovation. They really are grasping over at Y&R. I don’t see a big difference in the set. It is refreshed. Why make a storyline out of it?
  16. Glad you agree about Chandler’s smirking. It’s the reason I criticize him. He hasn’t grown as an actor, unfortunately. I don’t fawn over him because of his looks. I wish he’d never appear until he loses his smirking style of acting. Dee is doing a great job but yes, the story with the bandages isn’t the best. I get it- Drake wasn’t available and its a throwback to how John came to Salem, but it’s tough to get into the scenes when we know it’s not Drake under the bandages.
