  1. I’m happy for what Ron is doing next. This board may not care for it, but Ron is moving forward. I wish him the best!
  2. Which is exactly why you have to fact check everything. Denise Pence absolutely was there before JvD. Elvera was there before Jerry as well. It was almost 50 years ago so I understand how the memory can fade.
  3. I truly cannot believe that someone is so tone deaf that they will mention Drake Hogestyn’s name after what they did to him and his family. Incomprehensible.
  4. Joe Wilmore was a Terrible EP! The ratings dropped. He was a disaster.
  5. Shallotpeel has no business spreading incorrect info on here constantly.
  6. Greg and ‘Leo’ are clearly way more popular outside of the SON bubble. This board is not the consensus. Leo is a favorite character of mine. Days keeps writing for Leo, even with new writers so I’m sure they get their feedback from a myriad of sources and not just 1 board. Deidre is Deidre. I’ve met her and seen her in action.
  7. We haven’t heard the last from Ron, and no he is not going to Y&R. It was his choice to help BTG launch, per MVJ and you can clearly tell that she appreciates his contribution to BTG. His next venture will be exciting.
  8. From talking to her. It’s not hard to figure out why I would make a bold statement. The rumors crack me up. She’s not there to be the EP. That ship sailed.
  9. Remind me again how One Stormy Night is better than Body & Soul? These new writers aren’t doing it for me. Yawn.
  10. Loved this episode. Greg is great and obviously loved by Deidre. This podcast is a hit! Thousands of views. Looking forward to seeing the rest of them.
  11. Loved Episode 2 with Queen Dee. Good interview. Dee doesn’t warm up to just anyone but she obviously loves Greg. So glad to see Greg thriving with this podcast and his Lead Actor Emmy nomination. He’s beloved by many.
  12. It’s always a good Days when the Outstanding Lead Performer Emmy nominee Greg Rikaart is in an episode. I love my Leo! He always entertains. I’m still not sold on these news writers. Things are not gelling.
  13. Totally agree! SSH had a 9 minute monologue (unheard of these days) giving Doug’s eulogy and she was brilliant! She was the lead. Who did she support? To your point that the categories are broad - yes, absolutely. Even the supporting actors submit scenes where they are the ‘lead’. They want the focus on them to win the award.
  14. Go Greg!!! I knew he’d get a well deserved nomination! However, if I were voting, I’d vote for Dominic. He deserves the win.
  15. I love my Leo but he’s in a bad storyline. Leo taking care of a baby??? Thanks new writers for a bad story. The Leo of old would never want a baby. And that Javi actor has to #1, learn to act, and #2, stop making those bad acting ticks with his mouth. He always acts like he’s acting. He needs an acting coach.
  16. I disagree with Vee’s epistle. Good lord. HUGE thumbs down. 👎
  17. Just for accuracy and facts, there was never a Louise Broderick who wrote for GL, or any other soap.
  18. It’s obvious that Leo isn’t going anywhere. Thank you, Paula & Jeanne!!! That said, they need to work on realism. In this episode, a baby is born, left with cord intact, is given the a physical so Javi can take him home. WTF???? Unrealistic. I’m not impressed with the new team.
  19. Tonja was……..something. She was obsessed that she used to be on GH and then downgraded to OLTL. True story: I was visiting the actress who was Tonja’s dressing roommate at OLTL. Tonja had a big, framed photo plastered on the dressing room wall - her GH credit Tonja Walker as Olivia Jerome with the classic GH logo. Tonja’s dressing roommate found it obnoxious. And I can tell you first hand by what I witnessed that day was Tonja causing chaos on the set. This was during the transition period when Rauch was gone and Gottlieb had not started full time yet. (Gottlieb was in and out of the studio depending on her schedule of finishing up other projects before starting OLTL full time.) Gottlieb was not in the studio that particular day. Tonja was holding up production by not being on the set and the director (Peter Miner) was screaming over the studio loudspeaker for Tonja to get on the set - NOW. I did meet Tonja that day as she came into the dressing room when I was visiting her roommate. Tonja was………something.
  20. Me too. The stories keep changing. The self proclaimed insider keeps changing her story about what really happened.
  21. I know Y&R has problems. BIG problems. BTG has big problems too when they lose over a million viewers from their lead-in B&B. And out of nowhere, CBS decides to air repeats of BTG next week. This was not a planned week of repeats. Something’s up.
  22. BTG loses demos from its lead-in. That’s never good. And CBS is already showing a week of repeats next week, which is unheard of. (Save for covid). Hopefully they are retooling the show.
  23. You know that there are problems with BTG when Y&R has more than double their audience. I watch BTG. It’s on in the background but nothing draws me in. The production is terrible. They seem to fade to black in the middle of words. Where are the cliffhangers? The show needs a revamp, already. It’s not catching on.
