Today was good. Not great. Stephan O. leaving came out of nowhere. Good to see Vivian. But she wasn't as 'out' there as she can be, especially with Ivan. Very subdued. Good to see them both. However, the zaniness wasn't there. Javier will need to improve his enunciation. It was his first day so he gets a pass. Look forward to seeing his story. I continue to love Cheri Jimenez. I've forgotten the name of the previous actress. lol John-Paul Laviosier was pretty campy. He looks good but over the top. Tone the camp down.

Tracker is a smash hit!! With old people. Tracker’s demos SUCk! Tracker had 5 million more viewers than Big Brother yet Big Brother beat Tracker in the all important demos. Grannys are watching Tracker.

So Van Hansis got hired because he kept sending in tapes and finally got hired? I liked Ryan Carnes so much better in the role.

I get that I am being ageist. Ed Scott is 80. What can he bring to a show/genre that wants young viewers?

You forgot John Fisher, “Supervising Producer” who supervises nothing. Yes, he pays bills for the show in the office but he supervises nothing related to story or what we see onscreen.

I don’t see this as a show changing thing. He’ll just be filling a position. B&B cut him. The man is 80. He won’t even be sitting in story meetings. Oversee scheduling, sick calls, a camera or light goes down. Day to day stuff that does not affect what we see on screen. Yes. Sony sold the music rights. It had nothing to do with the producers. Ed Scott cannot get back those music cues.

She is SO right! I spent many hours outside the soap studios with other fans, and yes, we would wait for a ‘star’ to come out and we really would say ‘he/she’s no one’

I still LOVE Leo. He's my fave. That being said, I am finally done with Carlivati. I thought that he would think about stories and where he could take the show during the strike. He didn't. I look forward to the new writers. Carlivati is so out of gas with what is airing now. Boring. Spellman- Drucker is to blame too. She's done nothing to improve the show. She needs to be replaced. The show is boring.

The actor who plays Seth Burns in the ridiculous Body & Soul storyline looks like Albert Alarr. Sorry but that's what I saw.

Pretty much. Robin returned to NYC in 1992 after having some success on Coach and Knots Landing. She wanted to get back into daytime and met with JFP at GL about taking the Alexandra role. That didn’t go well so Robin called ABC to let them know she was available and Princi’s contract was up and voila. Robin was back.

I appreciate that SON reports these ratings but the reality is that these ratings are USELESS. Instant gratification. They are a baseline. The starting point. The ratings only grow from here with streaming on the apps. I do laugh at the people who think these ratings determine whether or not a story is a success. So much more goes into it than these numbers.

The fact that Wheeler was never hired in daytime again says alot. I’d rather GL ended earlier than the idiotic Peapack crap. Go out with dignity. GL did not do that because of Wheeler. It’s show business. You lose jobs. It happens. I’ll never forgive Ellen Wheeler for what she did to GL. Peapack? How stupid.

Show killer Wheeler was the worst! Even before the disastrous Peapack, she was laying the grounds for cancellation with kissing cousins and getting rid of Jerry verDorn. Unforgiveable! I’m so glad Wheeler and Hurst never worked in daytime again.

Y&R is the worst it has ever been. It’s SO boring! Nothing ever happens. Talk talk talk but no story. Very much agree that Y&R has never been this bad. The Ratings reflect it. Come on CBS, do better.

First off, this is in development so a holiday movie will not happen this year. Next year, at the earliest. I don’t see it happening. I think of Agnes. Her franchise as a Lifetime Network movie? She’d be horrified.

TV movies is not the way to go with AMC or any other cancelled soap. This will not fly. Bring the show back daily or let it r.i.p. I doubt this will go anywhere. The best shot at an AMC revival was with Kelly & Mark’s weekly idea and ABC passed. That ship has sailed.

And isn’t there some ridiculous petition to get that awful Blaze actress back? lol These petitions never work. Move on.
