  1. Thank you for that info. I didn't realize that Ryan is in his 40's. He looks younger.
  2. So Lucas is now in his 40’s? Hopefully this is short term. Van’s acting ticks were annoying on ATWT. Bad decision GH.
  3. Pretty much. Robin returned to NYC in 1992 after having some success on Coach and Knots Landing. She wanted to get back into daytime and met with JFP at GL about taking the Alexandra role. That didn’t go well so Robin called ABC to let them know she was available and Princi’s contract was up and voila. Robin was back.
  4. I appreciate that SON reports these ratings but the reality is that these ratings are USELESS. Instant gratification. They are a baseline. The starting point. The ratings only grow from here with streaming on the apps. I do laugh at the people who think these ratings determine whether or not a story is a success. So much more goes into it than these numbers.
  5. The fact that Wheeler was never hired in daytime again says alot. I’d rather GL ended earlier than the idiotic Peapack crap. Go out with dignity. GL did not do that because of Wheeler. It’s show business. You lose jobs. It happens. I’ll never forgive Ellen Wheeler for what she did to GL. Peapack? How stupid.
  6. Show killer Wheeler was the worst! Even before the disastrous Peapack, she was laying the grounds for cancellation with kissing cousins and getting rid of Jerry verDorn. Unforgiveable! I’m so glad Wheeler and Hurst never worked in daytime again.
  7. Y&R is the worst it has ever been. It’s SO boring! Nothing ever happens. Talk talk talk but no story. Very much agree that Y&R has never been this bad. The Ratings reflect it. Come on CBS, do better.
  8. First off, this is in development so a holiday movie will not happen this year. Next year, at the earliest. I don’t see it happening. I think of Agnes. Her franchise as a Lifetime Network movie? She’d be horrified.
  9. TV movies is not the way to go with AMC or any other cancelled soap. This will not fly. Bring the show back daily or let it r.i.p. I doubt this will go anywhere. The best shot at an AMC revival was with Kelly & Mark’s weekly idea and ABC passed. That ship has sailed.
  10. And isn’t there some ridiculous petition to get that awful Blaze actress back? lol These petitions never work. Move on.
  11. Y&R is a fave of mine, but shouldn’t something be happening on the show? It’s so boring. I just binged 4 episodes. Fast forwarded alot (I dvr it) Y&R is SO boring. Nothing is happening.
  12. Never! Total waste of time. We’re getting her job back!!! lol
  13. Billy Flynn comes off as arrogant in the Michael Fairman interview. But then again, he’s always arrogant. Leave the show Billy if they are not writing what you want. You have that choice yet you remain year after year. I’m intrigued by the Abby storyline. I love it!
  14. Y&R’s use of GreenScreen acting continues. Saving on sets.
  15. Thank you. I’ve never understood why Beverlee McKinsey took the job on GH for insurance purposes and never worked again.
  16. Beverlee did submit herself for an Emmy during the end of her GL run. She failed to be nominated. Beverlee left Texas because she was overworked. Beverlee left GL because she was overworked. There’s a pattern. Beverlee did GH for a few days just for the health insurance. Can anyone explain to me how doing GH for a few days sustained her health insurance for the rest of her life?
  17. There were no evils. But yes, Wheeler was the absolute worst EP in soap history.
  18. Wheeler was the most inept EP GL ever had. She was in way over her head and had the most asinine ideas. Her years as EP were the worst in GL history and she ushered the longest running soap right off the airwaves, ending with Peapack. Unforgivable. I’m so glad we never heard from her again.
  19. Exactly. That’s why I chuckle when folks take something that someone said as fact. Time passes and the memory fades. An example: Pam Long gave interviews back in the day about writing Reva’s post partum depression storyline ushering Reva off the show when Kim left. 20 years later when GL was going off the air, Pam was interviewed and said that she didn’t write that storyline. Really??? Not sure how Pam could forget such a memorable story and moment in GL’s history (I’m coming Bud…..).
  20. Y&R is really cutting the budget with the green screen stuff.
  21. GH has been incredible since Patrick Mulcahey’s exit. He cannot headwrite or co-headwrite a soap. He needed to be cut (yawn)and it happened. Moving on, fantastic scenes at the cemetery. This is what soaps do best. Kate Mansi doesn’t thrill me but she tries. There will be emmy’s but not for Mansi.
  22. Good cliffhanger today. Didn’t see that one coming.
  23. GH has been going UP since Patrick Mulcahey was fired. Not a coincidence.
  24. Agreed. There’s no reason. And the credits posted aren’t even accurate. John posts Cathy Lepard everyday and she isn’t even credited. Ridiculous.
  25. Thank YOU for providing accurate credits.
