Erica is definitely in the vein of a Kardashian rather than a supermodel so height shouldn't matter. If social media existed during her rise she would have been so stupid popular.

When I watch the show I'm just like "Who is this?" about so many people. Alexis had a scene with a familiar character actor and a little girl in a park. I think he's Michael Easton's father. Why is his character's father even on the canvas? And who is that little girl's mother?

They've listed the entire cast for each show for some reason.

To me this is always the better option. That way we wait with bated breath until something is revealed. If you look at it some of the most successful soap stories have been centered around the audience knowing something the characters don't. Phillip's parentage on GL, Mike's paternity on Days, Nick and Phyllis' affair on Y&R, Bianca's baby switch on AMC... Of course soaps have abused this by constantly teasing that this big secret is about to be revealed every other scene. It's better when we know but they let it lie unaddressed for some time.

The tax scene feels like all the business talk on present day Y&R.

I can't answer this but just based on what I read here I feel like Days goes through every soap trope on a weekly basis.

The first 20 seconds of this video illustrates exactly why Erica Kane (and Susan Lucci) became the legend she is today. Mike's question does make me wonder: how famous was Erica meant to be? Like a household name? What celebrity would you compare her to?

They really contrasted the gay newlyweds doing tasks with the straight people banging? I'm not surprised but how blatant can you be?

Speaking of the Forrester children, I find it odd that the show has zero investment in the one biological child of its signature couple. When's the last time we even heard about RJ much less seen him?

It was a good interview, he seems very happy. Looks like losing AMC made him realize what he had because the last few years of the show he looked miserable and it was reflected in his acting and physical appearance.

I think if Y&R bothered to try they could easily go back to over 4 million viewers.

Did any show other than AMC benefit from the One Big Show nonsense? And even that I can't truly attribute to the crossovers because viewers were desperate for Bianca to get her baby back regardless.

What a waste. She will probably come back from this but she shouldn't. They realize that she shouldn't right? Her whole return was yet another dud. Why is it so hard to keep her on the edge of evil? They always make her go overboard every time she returns. I truly wonder: do THEY think this is good? Do they sit back satisfied, put their feet up and say "Oh yeah that was a good denouement for that storyline?". I really wonder.

Why don't you, instead of complaining about what everyone is saying, contribute something of substance to the conversation instead of this passive aggressive comment? Food for thought, Jeff.

I'd feel the same if I didn't find his hiring decisions a detriment to the show. There is no reason Roger Howarth or Michael Easton should be in their third roles on GH. Especially when there are more important characters who could be occupying the space (and the salaries) they're taking up.
