  1. I thought it was pretty great too, they're both really good sports all of the time. OKAY. Shut up. Let me crash with you. Xoxo.
  2. I have had that album on non-stop repeat since it dropped. Obviously I'm an REG fangirl but beyond that the Broadway fan in me is just astounded by the whole thing. It's just so great to see some of these theatre actors who have been steadily just working their craft (I'm looking at you Leslie Odom Jr.) finally get a chance to shine and I want some one to PET scan Lin-Manuel Miranda so I can see exactly how his brain works. Yes! I've had 'Satisfied' on repeat multiple times over the past week. The whole show is just brilliant, I'm contemplating a weekend trip to NY JUST for Hamilton, which is kind of stupid considering how much the tickets are but whatever. Julianne Moore and John Stamos did a soap opera parody on The Late Late Show:
  3. I don't know if this has been mentioned Renee Elise Goldsberry is in the new musical Hamilton and they just released the soundtrack and let me tell you she is phenomenal. The soundtrack as a whole is a modern day masterpiece.
  4. I've been busy. Hopefully tonight. Haters to the left, Darn. Can you get out of here with your 2007 references, JASE. I tend to see it more as one down one up. First season not that good. Second season good. Third not that good. Fourth good. Fifth not that good. Hopefully the sixth will be good. I suppose. It seems like this last season they decided that this show was some sort of prestige drama and not a populist phenomenon. All these languid shots of nothing and badly drawn psycho drama. And the ratings just keep going up when the show is just not good.
  5. I swear another show did a very similar promo for one of their seasons. Here's hoping the show isn't actual molasses this season! I've never seen a show more representative of diminishing returns.
  6. Susan Lucci was inducted as Disney Legend over the weekend.
  7. Goodness that is gorgeous and I bet it goes fast, if I lived in NY and ya know, had money I'd consider that a nice respite from city life.
  8. And love me in equal measure! <3
  9. That magical time when a black woman was on enough to be hated and loved by the audience in equal measure. What a time to be alive.
  10. Most of their scenes on OLTL? What are we talking about here?
  11. I SO wish they hadn't had that second episode with his character now. Because it was really stupid and he deserves a clean slate. Especially if he's going to be paired with Olivia, who is sure to destroy whatever goodwill the character has. I like Yani a lot, he's totally more in my lane than this guy but I see why they'd recast.
  12. You're watching the same show as me. He's utterly bland and frankly kinda creepy, his eyes are open way too wide all the time. Terrible character, worse (?) actor.
  13. Of course it was a Delta flight, they're the worst.
  14. Forbes looks great. I always liked him and was pretty irritated that they killed off Nash even if I wasn't a fan of his pairing with Jessica (and look at what his death led to, the utter gutting of her character). I find it weird that he was even in a talent competition with ABC...he used to be employed by them?
  15. No prob. He's reminding me of Zarf. He looks mid-transition and that's no shade, it's just what I see.
  16. He looks a lot like him actually. More so than the other actors look like their real life counterparts.
  17. This is so random but on this podcast, I Was There Too, which is about the little known actors is major movies, there's an interview with the actress who played Bus Passenger #1 on Speed. She's an actress by the name of Simone Gad, at one point during the interview it's mentioned that she had the very first line on Days. Listen here at 17:49.
  18. He was in it and looked delicious and was by far the most sensible male character on that show in at least 2 seasons. I hope they bring him back.
  19. John Brotherton (Jared, OLTL) is in literally less than 2 seconds of Guardians of the Galaxy.
  20. No one wants The Walking Dead to last for 10 years. I always see this headline whenever a show is at the peak of its success. This show has a finite premise, it needs to end in the next 2-3 seasons.
  21. Frank Grillo (Someone on GL, I dunno) has a pretty substantial role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I highly recommend the movie btw.
  22. I think Carl completely understood and that's what disturbed him more than anything. He's (Carl) a "monster" too. I just realized that Carol, Tyreese and Judith were not at Terminus. Carol to the rescue! She'll get this handled.
  23. It was *actually* good until that last line. I wish they allowed the hard curse words on basic cable, could have totally saved the scene. I so prefer batshit crazy Rick to sobbing and indecisive Rick. I want him, the Archer, the Samurai and the Kid to kick some ass next season. I love the little family Rick, Michonne and Carl have built. I was actually hoping Rick and Michonne's fireside chat would evolve into sexy times... I'm pretty sure these Terminus people are cannibals. There were what looked like flayed bodies on the ground while our group was running away from the Termites (btw I'm glad they pointed out that they were shooting at their feet, I was all ready to complain about what horrible shots they were).
  24. I thought the first half of the season was far worse. Another 7 episodes waiting for the Governor to do something, snore. Not that this second half has been much better. I think they know what they want to do and where they want to go but the dialogue is just so spotty that the characters can come across like morons. Terribly underwhelmed by Maggie and Glenn's reunion and I LIKE them. It didn't feel as important as it should have. And they've been such assholes to everyone their with that I kind of didn't want them to get what they want, not that easily anyway (at least it's been relatively easy for the typical TWD shenanigans, they just had to walk in the same direction long enough). I really wonder if this show intends to stay in Georgia forever. Is the comic book like that?
  25. I can only imagine how long the decision to kill Lizzie would have taken if Rick were around. At LEAST 3 episodes of him crying about it and yelling at the other characters. The foreshadowing thing Carl linked to highlights to me that this show is probably much better binge-watched. It's just that so much of TWD is people walking through shrubbery that it all sort of blends together week after week. I enjoyed the show more when I watched the first two seasons back to back.
