  1. Happy birthday to Madonna (August 16)
  2. So then Anita would likely try to contact Barbara's family for permission (or ask Devon to arrange that). And then the word would eventually get back to Leslie.
  3. In Friday's episode, Anita said to Vernon, it would have been good if Barbara's family were in the audience at the reunion concert. Anita said that she didn't think to contact them to invite them, so they could see Barbara honored, and she wishes that she had thought of it. Of course Anita would remember where Barbara's family lived originally, since all four Articulettes grew up in the projects. We know they started singing together as teens, but the video at the concert showed the four as girls, maybe elementary school age, so they'd known each other for many years. Anita would have identified the family to the attorneys setting up the blind trust. But does Anita know where the family lives now or how to contact them? I guess she could have asked the attorneys for the contact info, and then contacted them herself with invitations.
  4. I have the same questions!
  5. After Barbara died and sent the suicide note to Anita, as soon as Anita had money, Anita set up a blind trust to pay off Barbara's family with a lot of money anonymously. Some sort of fund that still exists and probably accrues interest. It was set up in a way that the family was never supposed to know the money came from Anita. This was Anita's internal emotional way of rationalizing that she was paying off her own karma for abandoning Barbara and causing Barbara to die of despair. (I'm not saying that that money actually solved the bad karma. Just saying that this was what *Anita* used as her motivation). Anita recently said that she donated her personal share of the Articulettes reuninon concert to the same blind trust, so that it would go to Barbara's family. Peaches learned somehow that Barbara's family trust has this money. (I don't know how Peaches would know this.). Now that Peaches is dying, she wants Leslie/Dana to know that her bio-mother was Barbara -- as Peaches wants Leslie/Dana to have access to the money from Barbara's family trust. Peaches says it's a lot of money. So with this inheritance, Leslie/Dana could theoretically buy property "within the gates". Whoever Leslie/Dana's bio-father might be isn't relevant -- the money comes from her mother, not her father. If Dante Green is the father, it doesn't matter if he's rich or poor, Leslie would be rich from her mother. If Vernon is the father (hopefully not!) but if he were, that would just be additional money. OOOOOh right, I forgot that part of it.

  7. Oh that's right, she said she wants to get back to her charity work. I wonder if we'll ever see Jacob's mother and brother?
  8. I just watched the Chief Hawthorne/ Anita scenes. Episode #19 from March 24. I think it was only that one episode? He dropped by her house. They exchanged some initial pleasantries about the Chief's wife Darlene who works as the police dispatcher, and Jacob's brother Luke who is also a cop. Most of their conversation was about her charity foundation planning an event for the Fallen Officer Fund. After the chief left, Anita was on the phone with someone about planning more for this event. But during all this, as Anita was talking up her own expertise in community events and charities, you could see her looking wistfully at Vernon's recent awards displayed on the shelves, and also her old awards on the same shelves. Later in the same episode, Naomi dropped by to visit Anita. Anita again asserted how great she's doing with her current life of doing charity work. But ... Then she finally said she's not old --- and the episode ended with the cute scene of Anita trying to do rap and doing a fair job, and then Anita trying to convince Naomi to rap, but Naomi was like "no". Anyhow, now that I've rewatched that episode after 5 months have passed, I see it differently. Originally it seemed like we might see a police benefit onscreen? But now I'm not so sure. Maybe it was just a set-up to show that Anita was feeling a subconscious need to sing again.
  9. I thought Chief Hawthorne was well worth watching in episode 107 (August 7). That was the first time I found the character interesting.
  10. Y&R and B&B fan club weekend: Friday August 15: event with former actors from both shows Saturday August 16: Y&R fan club event Edit: Also Sat. Aug. 16: a luncheon Sunday August 17: B&B fan club event with tour of new studio looking forward to reports from @ChickenNuggetz92 and @skiman12082004 who said they'd be attending
  11. I see Amy Vining, too.
  12. Theory/speculation: My guess is that Dante raped Barbara after she left the Articulettes. Peaches said that Barbara gave her the baby on condition that Peaches move far away and never connect to Barbara again, never tell anyone where she got the baby, and never tell the child the truth. If Dana/Leslie was the result of Dante raping Barbara, then I think it's likely that Barbara wanted the child's existence to be kept secret so that Dante wouldn't pursue custody or contact with the child. Even it it wasn't rape, it's likely that Dante was physically abusive most of the time, and Barbara wouldn't have wanted Dante to know of the child's existence. Barbara might have not told Peaches about how the child was conceived, so maybe Peaches didn't know. It seems that all Peaches knows is that Barbara said she(Barbara) wasn't ready to be a mother. Now that Peaches has revealed to Dana/Leslie that her biological mother was Barbara, you know Dana/Leslie will go public with this. Once this becomes public, then Dante will appear, seeking money/power/influence. /end theory
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZKrkpRa4EA The youtube description mentions that Tracy and one of her earlier husbands is there, too. Trying to find Tracy in that video, would this be her ? ? ? ? Or is this someone else?
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZKrkpRa4EA Thanks for the laughs with Tristan and Finola. At the Outback, I can see Steve and Audrey, Tom and Simone, Robin, Monica and Alan, Bobbie and Tony! The youtube description says there's an old AJ. If that's true, then I guess it might be Gerald Hopkins? If so, who is the young woman with him?
  15. It's been pointed out that when Anita read aloud Barbara's suicide note to herself and then told Vernon about it, Vernon didn't react as if he'd known Barbara at all.
  16. When Kimberly McCullough posted on her IG yesterday "Trissy forever", I didn't know what she meant, was that a portmanteau for two characters or two actors? But then I saw that Finola Hughes and Sean Kanan both referred to Tristan Rogers as "Trissy" and "Tris". And I think other cast members referred to Tristan as "Tris". I've been a fan of Tristan Rogers for decades, but I never knew until now that his coworkers called him Trissy.
  17. https://www.instagram.com/p/DNbNXYrpuL1/ finolafilona (Finola Hughes) Wish I could play one more scene with you, my friend. Tris sauntered into my dressing room on that first day to rehearse. Cropped hair & steel blue eyes, I thought ‘damn, I’m gonna be working with Steve McQueen!’ From day one he called me ‘kid’ or ‘Finny’ and he made me laugh. An effortless actor, living on screen, he taught me so much. Serious about his work, but always a rebel. His own man, navigating the system, he protected me, protected Kimberly, his character, his friends. God, he was a good one. Silly, funny, kind, serious. I am heartbroken for his awesome wife Teresa, his children Sara Jane & Cale. His family made him so happy and he adored talking about them. Love you Trissy, Mai Tai’s on the beach, Scorpio… 🏝️ 🕊️

  19. Sean Kanan (along with his wife Michele Kanan) was the showrunner for Studio City. https://www.instagram.com/p/DNY96s1MA7m/ sean.kanan I just learned that my friend Tristan has passed. I’m struggling to express my feelings which are raw. @michele.kanan and I have had countless adventures with Trissie Roo (my affectionate nickname for him) and his incredible wife @teresaprogers Tris and I worked together professionally on numerous projects. He was an extremely gifted actor and a kind and passionate man. His veneer was sometimes prickly and he didn’t suffer fools but he always made me laugh especially when he cracked that charming sideways grin and man did he have stories. I am going to miss my friend. Rest in peace, pal. Wishing the Rogers family love and strength during this difficult time. #tristenrogers
  20. We've known almost nothing about Hayley's background. And now the new twist that Hayley knows Randy. So now I'm just throwing this out there, based on nothing at all, just random guessing -- what if Hayley or Randy are connected to Dante?
  21. I've noticed some news articles about Tristan had originally reported on July 17, 2025 that his cancer diagnosis was announced by his rep, and said *then* that he had last aired November 12, 2024. It wasn't known then that he'd be airing on GH on July 17 and July 18, 2025 so that was a surprise. However I've seen new articles uploaded since August 15 talking about his death, which also say there that he last aired November 12, 2024. Apparently they copy/pasted the same "last aired" date from their prior article. I'm not naming those sites here because it's not worth worrying about, and because they might edit their articles later. I'd rather keep the focus on Tristan himself. I just think it's important to note that he made the effort to appear in those two July episodes despite being so ill.
  22. Wow so the GH twitter said for Friday August 15: "Due to ongoing breaking news coverage, today’s all-new #GeneralHospital is currently being preempted in some time zones. Anyone affected will be available to stream the episode on http://abc.com or @hulu beginning at 8pm eastern | 5pm pacific. #GH " Usually when they make such an announcement, it means that the episode will be up on abc.com unlocked and you can watch the whole thing immediately once it's uploaded there, (instead of waiting the usual week for it to be unlocked to the public) But it's currently requiring you to post your cable subscriber proof to watch before they'll unlock it. Oh... I see now that Nathan Varni tweeted this, and does specify that it should be unlocked. And he gives channels airing overnight but I didn't see those in time. https://x.com/nathanvarni/status/1956515628359279061 Friday August 15: Nathan Varni @nathanvarni "Today’s episode of @GeneralHospital avail later tonight (no login) on ABC website or @hulu . Select stations are also airing as follows: WABC NY at 3:05am-4:00am; WLS Chicago at 1:37am. WPVI at 2:30am; KTRK Houston at 3:00am. WTVD Raleigh at 3:00am. Set DVRs manually."
  23. "Next Week on Y&R" preview video for week of August 18-22
