Yes it was a letter from Genevieve. Cane was reading a letter that Genevieve had sent to Colin. They were divorced many years, but it seem that she had sent him a handwritten letter after she had learned he was dying.

You're likely joking but this is Y&R so ... Juliet was played by the actress Laur Allen who is half Chinese. The character Juliet spoke Japanese and worked in the Brash & Sassy Japan office. I don't think they'd do a Blair-OLTL style retcon? But then again they took away Cane's Australian accent.

This aired in Canada Monday August 25. Billy Flynn's Cane is having a flashback to a recent conversation he had with Tristan Rogers' Colin just before Colin died. (obviously a newly-created flashback filmed for this episode). Colin is in his sickbed talking with Cane. From looking at the screencaps and clips from the Canadian recappers, you can see that this is new footage that Tristan filmed at some point in the past few months.

A man can be raped and have an automated male physical response without awareness of arousal. (Nontechnical explanation from my years of watching Law&Order SVU). It is considered rape regardless of the mechanics of insertion or not -- legally it's still a sexual assault. And it's rape regardless of there being a climax or not. One infamous soapopera precedent was in Myanmar when Chelsea got Billy under the influence and raped him -- and from this, she got pregnant with Johnny. The show tried to say years later that that he didn't care, and then that he became her friend and dated her, which was gross. The fact remains that she raped him in the past. Viewers saw this.

Bringing this over from another thread, thanks to @dragonflies for finding this. Ben Gavin's script cover shows that episode 171 will air on Thursday November 13, 2025. We know that episode 119 will air Monday August 25, 2025. By my calculations, if there are no preemptions or repeats between August 25 and November 13, then episode 171 would air on Wednesday November 5. If the only preemption is for Labor Day September 1st, then episode 171 would air Thursday November 6. Possibilities: My calculations might be wrong? (maybe) There's another week of preemptions or repeats coming between August 25 and November 13? The script cover airdate is erroneous? The script contains scenes from more than one episode? The script was for a single episode that was scheduled to air November 13; but things have since been edited/rearranged and it will air earlier and there are no preemptions? -----

Well. I liked how pretty Kat looked holding the flowers. But that's the only thing I liked today. have not enjoyed BTG at all this week. I can't stand Leslie. She's not fun for me at all. This has been the worst week of the show for me. The point of soaps is entertainment. I'm not having fun with this anymore. I forced myself to watch every episode this week and hated it all. BTG is a show I have truly loved and supported all this time. But I'm not going to invest my energy into something that makes me angry and annoyed. I'm out.

I think Colby looks nice with the vivid hues of the flowers. I know colorful isn't the character Kat's personal style, but I'd like to see her wear a vivid color every now and then.

(5) If a person submits under the belief that the person committing the act is someone known to the victim other than the accused, and this belief is induced by artifice, pretense, or concealment practiced by the accused, with intent to induce the belief. (6) If the act is accomplished against the victim’s will by threatening to retaliate in the future against the victim or any other person, and there is a reasonable possibility that the perpetrator will execute the threat. As used in this paragraph, “threatening to retaliate” means a threat to kidnap or falsely imprison, or to inflict extreme pain, serious bodily injury, or death. (7) If the act is accomplished against the victim’s will by threatening to use the authority of a public official to incarcerate, arrest, or deport the victim or another, and the victim has a reasonable belief that the perpetrator is a public official. As used in this paragraph, “public official” means a person employed by a governmental agency who has the authority, as part of that position, to incarcerate, arrest, or deport another. The perpetrator does not actually have to be a public official.
