It's weird and disconcerting (for me) every time in the present day, when they show the dead hospital staff wall photos. John Ingle just feels wrong to me. Nothing against him personally, he just wasn't Edward to me. But of course I get why GH shows Ingle's portrait. I just wish it was David Lewis.

I remember Jed Allan as Don Craig on Days and as Steve Sanders' father on 90210. I don't remember watching him as Edward? But my viewing of GH during his era was very intermittent, so if I saw him, it didn't leave an impression.

I'm not watching the speech, but I started following ATRupar's clips/narration on bsky, One of the very first things Tr*ump said in his speech was "We ended DEI in America!" and the Republicans stood up and clapped. Okay, I'm out, cannot even bear to follow Rupar's excellent feed.

At the State of the Union speech, just before it started: Representative Al Green from Texas, held up this sign. They had him ejected.

Someone posted on the writers thread that today Tuesday Feb. 24 was the first episode with Noel Maxam credited as co-EP, and Janet Spellman-Drucker's name removed.

Since credits are public, I guess I can say that per the closing credits Feb. 13, Storms is on contract. Per her ig, she's commuting to her home in Nashville.

re: the discussion of Brenda Dickson and finances: Starting in late September 2025, she has been posting about her financial situation on ig, giving periodic updates, that something had happened with her home, what she claims was an illegal foreclosure, and something about things stolen, and she is/was homeless? with an ongoing legal battle, still ongoing in February 2026. He had such a meltdown about this. In his reaction statement, he literally said he's entitled to destroy other countries (technically he meant destroy economically; but obviously emotionally he feels he should be allowed to fully destroy anyone or anything or any country). He also insulted the Supreme Court Justices who ruled against him, and their families.

So this is an invitation to the State of The Union speech at the Capitol building on Tuesday night Feb. 24. Tr*mp says he'll send a military plane to bring the hockey team there. He wants them in the room to prop himself up on TV. Should be interesting because traditionally the entire Supreme Court is in attendance at the S.O.T.U. speech. I wouldn't be surprised if he rants about them during his speech.

However there are multiple videos of him partying in the men's locker room with the USA men's hockey team after the team won the gold medal. oooh good point, remember Joey had "eyes at" the hospital and he knew about Doug hurting his hand (or something else about Doug) -- whatever it was, Doug thought it was a private moment at the hospital, but Joey knew. Either spies or cameras, it wasn't specified what, but Joey directly told Doug "I have eyes there and everywhere" or something to that effect. So good point that Joey might know (from cameras or spies) about SPS messing with the potassium for Laura.

It's not even "lending" since she's recurring on Days. She's already free to work wherever.

This is all so interesting to read this thread. in the early 2000s, there were daily reruns of Sisters on Lifetime or Soapnet (or both). That is how I watched the entire series. I wasn't on any messageboards that discussed it, and didn't follow industry news, so I wasn't aware of anything behind-the-scenes at that time. It was one of my favorite shows but I had nobody to discuss it with. I haven't seen it since, but I adored Sela Ward as Teddy, and never forgot her. It's been over 20 years since I've seen the show, but I appreciate reading this thread. I remember the recasting of Reed was confusing, I loved Ashley Judd in the role.
