  2. re: above-posted videos from the Y&R fan event: I see that Lily Brooks O'Briant (Lucy Romalotti) now has red hair. Valerie Pettiford looks amazing in that off-the-shoulder dark pink dress.
  3. costume designer Mandi Line video from the fan event https://www.instagram.com/p/DNgQbeoJNtZ mandiline I’m so glad I went to the @youngandrestlesscbs #fanevent … it made me feel so proud of this cast. I always talk about how special they are but to watch them with the fans is another level. I know I’m new to this show and could imagine what this cast has seen over the years but I’m honored that I got to see the love to this cast from FROM THE AMAZING FANS this weekend! All the fans are the reason this show is still thriving! Thank you to @mattykane1 for being you. It was a blast! Let’s keep this show going! #youngandtherestless #costumedesigner ##bugsquad And to my new friend @lapeters99999 thank you for being my sidekick!
  4. Peaches handed Leslie some paperwork and a hairbrush. She said that the hairbrush was Barbara's and had Barbara's hair. She said that the paperwork was a DNA test proving that Barbara was Leslie's mother. How was the DNA comparison done? Peaches didn't say this -- but maybe Peaches had something at her home that she'd saved from Leslie -- is that how Peaches got Leslie's DNA?
  5. I suppose the same might apply to some hirings? *Someone* decided to bring Gwen back, but it could have been Ron or Janet or Corday or another producer, or corporate, or whatever. All we know is that Cwikly/Ford said in their April 2025 interview: "Gwen’s return was in the works before we were hired. We love Emily O’Brien and think Gwen can stir up a lot of mischief in Salem." Here's a link to interview source, and most of this has now already aired but *caution* that there are spoilers for events around the November 2025 anniversary leading into January 2026. *** Don't click if you want to stay unspoiled. (Link to April 2025 Cwikly/Ford interview) This was EOB's return interview (nothing there is a spoiler anymore). She said she was off of DAYS and just doing her motion capture job. But the videogame actors went on strike starting in July 2024 (strike link) and she said had no motion capture work due to that strike, but then DAYS called her to return for Theresa (airing March 2025) and Gwen (to begin airing July 2025). (Link to Emily O'Brien July 2025 interview) The article said she was returning as Gwen Rizczech, but we know that the character returned using the name Gwen Von Leuschner. EOB's interview does show that she was called in before Ron left. Her March 2025 airdates as Theresa would have (possibly) been taped just before Ron left. She said her scenes as Gwen began taping in October 2024. The way she words it in her interview, it sounds like it was a *combined arrangement request* for her returns as Theresa and Gwen --- which explains Theresa's return under Ron, and Gwen's return under Cwikly/Ford. But we still don't know who in management requested the combined arrangement. All EOB said was that casting director Marnie Saitta phoned EOB per her interview. In this EOB March 2025 interview when she returned as Theresa (Link), she said she had been considering moving to New York to do theatre when she got the call from DAYS.
  6. That was a key detail, that Peaches said that someone had been replenishing the blind trust every six months.

  9. Due to August 18 news preemption in the US, some markets got Steffy&Finn's 2021 wedding. The scheduled episode #9591 (Season 38 Episode 232) was officially preempted nationally in the U.S. on Monday August 18. The episode will air overnight (between Monday and Tuesday) in North Carolina. Info here: (Link to Errol's article) The episode did air in at least parts of Canada on Monday August 18 at its usual time. Update: Episode #9591 (Season 38, episode 232) which was preempted in USA on Monday Aug. 18, and will air instead in USA on new airdate Tues. Aug. 19 -- -- it was already uploaded to ctv.ca, labeled as Aug. 18. https://www.ctv.ca/shows/the-bold-and-the-beautiful/monday-august-18-2025-s38e232 At any rate, that episode was officially preempted, and will officially air in the U.S. nationwide on Tuesday August 19, *** (provided there are no further news interruptions.)
  10. Thanks for all the videos @ChickenNuggetz92
  11. Monday August 18- B&B was preempted nationwide in the U.S. But at least one station planned to air it overnight see (Link to Errol's article) Episode #9591 - Tuesday, August 19, 2025 - revised U.S. airdate -While undetected at Will’s promotion party, Luna plays Will against Electra. -Li lets Sheila know that Luna has given them the slip. This episode #9591 has now aired in Canada on its originally-scheduled airdate of Monday Aug. 18. I don't know what will air in Canada on Tues. Aug. 19? Will Canada get the same episode again, or will Canada get the Steffy&Finn 2021 wedding, or just random local programming? 12. Due to the August 18 news preemption, the SOD episode descriptions would all be moved to the next airdate. This would be the revised schedule -- *** (provided there are no further news interruptions.) Monday, August 18, 2025 Preempted nationwide in USA due to news. Some markets saw Steffy&Finn's 2021 wedding. At least one U.S. station planned to air the new episode overnight, not realizing it was officially preempted -- see (Link to Errol's article) (Parts of Canada got the new episode, but it was preempted in USA, so that doesn't count as having aired). Tuesday, August 19, 2025 - revised airdate Episode #9591 (Season 38, episode 232) -While undetected at Will’s promotion party, Luna plays Will against Electra. -Li lets Sheila know that Luna has given them the slip. 13. Due to the August 18 news preemption in the U.S., these episode descriptions would all be moved to the next airdate.
  14. Ooooo As Errol said, and also according to SOD, B&B was preempted nationally today August 18, with some markets getting Finn&Steffy's 2021 wedding. https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/mondays-bold-and-beautiful-episode-preempted-nationally/ And, as Errol said, it's always uploaded to cbs.com and paramountplus.com by 3pm Pacific or 6pm Eastern, and it's still not up, so that confirms the preemption. It's not posted online on the Canadian website ctv.ca either. However it did air on broadcast CTV in parts of Canada, and the regular Canadian recapper posted their recap. Someone in Australia said they got to see it. So per what Errol said, the North Carolina affiliate will get it early, too.
  15. As I said above I never watched the shows that had Thorpe and Stenbeck. But I did watch OLTL. I could NOT handle Mitch Lawrence at all. I had to stop watching OLTL whenever he was around. That character was repulsive to me and not entertaining. I agree that Leslie isn't at that level yet. I don't mind short arcs. What I cannot handle is an ongoing villain that's always present. Edit to add: I guess what I'm saying is that I could handle Leslie's presence as long as they don't try to humanize/reform her when I know she's a sociopath. I could handle her presence for the next several months if I had faith that she'd be punished and gone in a few months. I don't want a villain as ongoing cast.
  16. KS' exit into temporary leave for several months https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2025/07/general-hospital-kirsten-storms-tennessee-rumors-extended-absence and more https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/69143-article-general-hospital-star-kirsten-storms-responds-to-untruths-speculations-and-rumors/
  17. Wait... is Peaches really sick? Or did she hear about the inheritance and decided to glom onto Leslie now?
  18. I never watched whatever soaps the characters Roger Thorpe or James Stenbeck were on. So I cannot speak to that. But if they were longterm villains, I wouldn't have enjoyed it. On Days, Joe Mascolo was a great actor but I didn't enjoy the Stefano character at all. On Y&R, I loathed Sheila Carter. Constance Towers is a powerhouse but I loathed Helena Cassadine. We all view things differently and I'm not going to tell anyone what to enjoy or not. That's what makes a messageboard discussion fun. I want to be entertained, but personally I don't find villains entertaining at all. I find villains very aggravating. I don't mind villain arcs if the villain pays eventually. But I never want to see a longterm villain hanging around. That ruins the canvas for me. But I do understand that some viewers are entertained by villains. We're all different.
  19. Hmm all the articles said it was unclear who Kelly Theibaud would be playing since her character had been killed off in 2023. So this might be like that.
  20. tvinsider is citing the Deadline article: "Paevey will be playing a new character on GH, according to Deadline " But the Deadline article doesn't say that specifically. Deadline says "It’s unclear, for now, what role he will play since his previous character, the popular Det. Nathan West, was killed off in 2018."
  21. And Randy is a "have not". Even though Doug was a cardiac surgeon who would have had a large income until he quit ... I noticed last week that Doug reminded Vanessa that he didn't come from money (unlike her). That fits since Doug and Randy grew up together. Curious if Doug has any "have not" relatives.
  22. https://www.instagram.com/p/DNdwmG5pSzv/? johnstamos Heartbroken to hear about Tristan Rogers. He was so much fun to work with on @generalhospitalabc A true character. Tristan always had that sparkle in his eye that made me smile, and he was a damn good actor. More than that, he was kind to me when I was young, and I never forgot it. These are some pictures from my last day — including sweet ones of Tristan with my mom, and even a few with @demimoore . Grateful I got to share time with him. Rest easy, Tristan. 💔✨
  23. 🤣 That would be hilarious and perfect. 🤣
  24. I still have PSTD from Sheila Carter's first years on Y&R. I never stopped loathing her and she has never seemed human to me. Nothing B&B has ever done has changed that for me.
  25. Ugh. That's what everyone says when I state my opinion and NO. I do *not* want to watch Hallmark movies. Not at all. Sheesh. It really is possibly to have bad guys invoke lots of drama and then lose. Happens all the time -- weekly on SVU and periodically on Star Trek. I do agree that there aren't any heroes on BTG. Jacob tries to be a hero, but isn't one yet. Naomi was a hero until last week when she opened a closed adoption. I think Nicole is the only character that's sort of written as a hero, but they don't give her much of a point of view or much to do.
