  1. Thank you both for your thoughtful responses!!
  2. Thanks for clarifying!
  3. I heard through the grapevine that Don Stewart (who played Mike Bauer for 16 years!!) and Melinda Fee were NOT well-liked by the cast when they were on. The word was that both were mean and that DS never bothered to learn his lines and depended on everyone else to rehearse with him endlessly until he did. Has anyone else heard all this?
  4. Knowing how many people had and to this day have a fear of clowns, I'm sure many people in the audience were freaked out by this story. I'm guessing it was a Slesar story because it sounds like something he would have written for EON.
  5. What did people watching at that point think of Cassie cheating on her pastor husband with Kevin Buchanan? Were Cassie and Andrew liked as a couple by the fans to begin with? Under Laura Bonariggo Koffman's watch, who else was Cassie involved with?
  6. What was the Jingles the Clown story about? Did Henry Slesar write it?
  7. Interesting. I never knew Frank Runyeon was on GH.
  8. She looks wonderful!! Thanks for posting the picture!!
  9. OK, thanks. I figured it had to be after the 1980-81 season, after Eight is Enough ceased production.
  10. Yes, Tom Ligon and Dirk Benedict played cadets in the episode "The Blue Angels", the final episode of the first season of CA, and Farrah's last episode as a regular. Speaking of Tom Ligon, here's a NY Times article about him from August 2013 (with a photo!). He and Sam Waterston were roommates in their salad days. Who knew? http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/17/nyregion/he-used-to-be-on-police-dramas-then-he-met-a-bad-guy-in-real-life.html?_r=0
  11. Yup, both she and Eric Braeden were in (separate) episodes of Charlie's Angels. Melody's character didn't fare too well...
  12. This isn't an article, but I own the complete series DVD box set of Barney Miller, which as a bonus includes the first season of the spinoff series Fish. So I was watching the Fish season and in one of the episodes, I noticed a pretty blond who was hanging around Phil and Bernice Fish's foster kids. I knew she looked and sounded very familiar but I just couldn't place her. Then when the credits rolled around, I noticed that the blond girl's real name was Melody Thomas.
  13. It was hard for me to see the SOD write-ups about Mama Carmen and not go, "hey, the lady cop from Miami Vice turned to the dark side"!!
  14. Yeah, she briefly returned in 1989 and it was then that Brandon finally learned that Santana was his biological mother.
  15. Thank you all for enlightening me on the Danny/Michelle beginning, and who played what. Who played Mick Santos?
  16. Now, THAT would have been awesome. Knowing how fun he was playing the attraction angle as Lionel on SB with Augusta and Sophia, NC, EF and PB would have knocked it out of the park. Speaking of NC and his second ATWT character, how were Eduardo and Damian related?
  17. Thank you so much for posting that!! I have never seen this article before.
  18. OK, thanks!! Who else did the character of Robbie interact with?
  19. Was he the one played by Willie Aames? I didn't know he was with Jody. How long was he on the show?
  20. Didn't also teach and/or coach at a high school in STL?
