I agree with all you said, but especially this. I really loved a lot of RR's subtle work post-kidnapping. A lot of people know I loved her since her diva hair toss during the photoshoot hehe, but there were layers going on that I felt intuned to her doing.

I might take you up on that. TMG is too good to keep being reduced to a clown. Let Leslie have layers as she feuds/fights.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOP Well...Wendy did warn her...LOL. That was a solid season opener. It felt lighthearted. There was fun shade ('Cuz Gizelle, you have never been humiliated by a man?' I died). And it flowed. I loved how it balanced tie-ing up loose threads while at the same time introducing the new dynamic/direction for the season going forward. And it did it flawlessly. But going back to what I said first hehe...Wendy warned Stacey at the reunion that she was going to be the target if she did not tell the truth about TJ. Ashley would want her lick back. Keiarna was side-eying her all reunion already. And then there's Gizelle who already had a bit of rivalry with her last season and nicely made the move of revealing to Wendy that Stacey was about to copy her husband's business...a move that will surely keep Stacey's only ally from completely trusting her. So of course, everyone came for her throughout the episode. The meet about Karen turning into a Stacey ambush was well-played...complete with a bombshell about TJ. Then Ashley got her lick back later on with said bombshell. And then...at her basically divorce party, Ashley vs Stacey continued. Stacey is giving Kenya's second season on RHOA to me...just without any allies going on. I also feel she's playing her part well just like Kenya did. They can come for her all they want, but they all still have Stacey's name on their lips. And how Stacey is handling them all (while still giving good digs in and great Confessionals) has been crazy wild. I can't decide if she truly is delulu or if she is just one of those liars who believes her lies. Which can be a danger to her. We got rid of one Messy Mia. We don't need another. It goes without saying starting the episode with Karen getting out of jail is a choice. And then rewinding back 6 months (but just ahead so we are now 4 months out from her release) was intriguing. I still strongly feel she will pop up in the midseason trailer. I think that was my only problem with the episode...it was missing something I suspect Karen can give. And she was out this past weekend online in fact. As for the ladies... GIZELLE. Who runs the girls? Uh...lol. But I did appreciate Gizelle's light touch. I definitely am used to her and Karen co-running the girls, so it does feel off. Moreso because I thought perhaps Wendy might step up to that role, but she was kinda mute outside of the first scene. And of course, Gizelle wouldn't be Gizelle if she was not trying to have a bombshell. And that was a juicy one, knowing someone well known who knows TJ and knows that Stacey is up to something. So Gizelle...still in the mix...and it's just the beginning. ASHLEY. Not Ashley FINALLY getting the bag!!!! What skeleton does Michael Darby have in his closet that he don't want out that he finally forked over 20 million aka enough money that Ashley don't have to rub his feet anymore. lol. Free at last, she quickly ran with Gizelle's bombshell (a better minion than someone we used to know) and confronted Stacey alone AND in the group. Well-done on that. Also well-done in giving us our first (wacky) event of the season. Looks like Old School Ashley...is BACK. WENDY. You know what? All the years that you all have mentioned how Wendy never seen to be central and could leave tomorrow...that she's just there. Well, I finally see what you all mean. I would think with Karen gone, she would have stepped up and try to fill that spot. So it was surprising that she barely gave anything. Thankfully, she will have a little bit of story thanks to Keiarna, but for the first time (for me), I felt like she really wasn't needed. At all. Last season? KEIARNA. Le sigh. I was TeamWendy in the start of their falling out. Why? It makes no sense to me why she's mad at Wendy. It definitely felt like she just wanted a reason to fight with her. Her getting into it with Stacey on the other hand...that was beautifully set up at the end of last season and the reunion because she was already souring on Stacey. Also she has definitely shown she's ride-or-die for Karen...which might be the reason she is really trying to feud with Wendy. Outside of that, her storyline to stay relevant does intrigue me simply because it was all there last season with her issues with her man as well as her family picking up on it. I felt her mom was side-eying Greg a few times last season, so it was nice to see her speak on it. Meanwhile, I like that Keiarna had enough self-awareness to see that her man was not treating her right last season. Still should not have stayed with him though. Let's see where it goes. ANGEL. I liked she got an intro as all newbie housewives should get. Interesting that she's Keiarna's friend. Yes, her husband is FOINE. And I like that in the Wendy vs Keiarna feud, she didn't immediately take a side. I did giggle that she tagged in already to HotBreathGate. TIA. Someone mentioned it online, and I agree. Gizelle's friend (oops everyone getting a friend BUT Wendy) was giving a S1 RHOP housewife pedigree and I wasn't hating on that. I like her vibe. I loooooove her accent. And that backstory...she's a princess!!! And she truly feels like a duck out of water...a more truer version of what Stacey was giving last season. I think that is genius. It allows Stacey to evolve into Kenya Jr something different...whether it is major player or villain while the show keeps that first season housewife vibe. STACEY. Oooo not Homebody that was about not cursing now cursing on camera bout bitcas. I guess Vivian was right about her. But you know what...I was completely entertained by her and watching her try to pivot out of being in the hot seat that Wendy warned her about. Being delusive. Walking out. Being nice nasty with Ashley at the clothing store. Putting on a brave face during the start of HotBreathGate and giving fierce Confessionals. I mean for a woman with secrets...she's handling it all well so far. And still smart enough to know to show up for filming. Also smart enough to keep a story going on cuz...I didn't know she was back with her ex who she JUST divorced quicker than Ashley. I gasped, too. She still trying to play ditzy, but her body language is giving something else. And...keeping them pressed AND talking. Last season, she took from the Kenya Moore playbook. And so far...she seems like she's doing it again. Look at her feuding with just about everybody. She will need some inroads...quick!! Will this season be her Season 6 Kenya season? Time will tell. Is it next week yet? Cuz...it really was fabulous.

Wow. But not surprising. It reminds of Eli and Lani being the first black couple to get married on DAYS if I'm not mistaken...and that was a few years back.

Yeah, I just don't think RC and JT mix well. Given I felt the last two Mondays were off to good to great starts, this Monday was...meh. It had great moments for me. I liked we got people who normally don't interact (Smitty/Ted, especially love Chels vs Tomas...he even came alive with an inflection for one second) interacting. And I liked how characters were touching base that I haven't felt had in a minute. Martin with Vernon/Anita. Nicole/Kat. Even SilkPress/Eva was giving their old dynamic. I even giggled at SilkPress mocking Eva a little bit. But outside of that moment...meh. It was back to Silk Press Sheila being too much of a cartoon. And I just feel they wrote Anita and Vernon too soft in their scenes with her. And then to have Anita playing comedy with the cough. Uhhhh....the woman who slapped the taste out of SilkPress's mouth for getting close to her. NO THANKS. Where is Dark Vernon when I need him? Cuz those off-screen conversation with off-screen Bill ain't cutting it. Oooooooh so that's why there have been plot point mentions of Martin's Secret and Kenny's murder here and there. I enjoyed the Smitty/Ted scene. And I know I've mentioned that I've been enjoying how Martin and Smitty have been playing the couple that have been longing to get back together regardless of how Martin's Secret came out. Martin moving out was going to force some movement in that story which I was thankful for. And like I said, I liked the Smitty/Ted scenes as well as Martin/Vernon/Anita scenes discussing it. It felt like perhaps they might just come together. However, in the back of my mind, I just felt it could not be that simple. And Martin's speech at the end summed it up for me. So WTF...he wants to turn himself in? I...don't get it. Okay, I do get it, but still...it was an abrupt turn for me. I can only assume this plot point is a way for the secret (as well as Kenny's murder) to somehow come out. So...intrigued. Mildly. I was happy to see Chelesa looking and acting completely like herself pre-kidnapping. And I found her vs Tomas to be my highlight of the day. She read him good. I especially loved that she said...IHO... her thoughts. True thoughts. Kat IS just wanting him back to keep him from Eva. Simple as that. And it says something about Kat as much as it says something about Tomas that hearing that...he still wants to use that to his advantage. And then there's SilkPress's talk with Eva. I'll always be here for Kat vs Eva cuz they are so the money rivalry at the moment, but I think after this latest turn with Tomas, I want them to fight over something (and/or someone) better. I do like they are setting up Doug's Funeral nicely. A main plot building in the background. That said...good moments, but overall meh today. Side note...I see BC was popping today in more ways than one.

I thought it was well-timed (especially since it was pre-taped) given the Bad Bunny at Super Bowl news last week and then him on SNL this past weekend, too.

They really do. I still remember how they were the outsiders in Season 1 and tight. And since Mary and Whitney finally made up (in a mostly edited down scene) last season, Mary has had her back. Last week, Mary being the one to try to get Whitney to sit down I feel was telling of how much closer they are now. If this week's episode picks up from there, I would not at all be surprised Mary goes and calms her down. Suuuuure will. Oh, you are not alone. I'm sooo tired of holding my tongue over it, too. Like that stuff with Julia from Ana's return. I didn't know there was any BTS mess/editing going on, but apparently it was a whole thing. I guess Ana spoke up about it just like she did about Marysol circa Season 3. So she was right again.- GH: October 2025 Discussion Thread
Well that's not toooo shocking. She slept with Curtis and Isaish practically (if not literally) back to back. Really? 😜- GH: October 2025 Discussion Thread
TBF and give him his due, Frank does incorporate the seedy motel from time to time. There was Esme needing to take care of that guy who she got the cloned phone from. Not to mention when it popped up during the Hook storyline. I think that's as close to seedy locale this show now gets. For working class, I would love it if they would get back to using Bobbie's for that. We even know they have those rooms upstairs still by Jason and Britt. It used to be a hub of activity on top of just having the restaurant downstairs. And I feel we still have a lot of working class on canvas to make that work.- ARTICLE: ‘Beyond the Gates’ Casts “Hot Male” With Veteran Soap Star Greg Vaughan, Who Debuts In Fairmont Crest This Fall

SLC I knew it was going to be a mess, but the return of S5 Whit, too??? Lord...where are the smelling salts!!! lol. That was a great episode. We got some interesting individual scenes for some of the ladies. And I liked they appeared to be themed. And got more of this Amy woman...was she auditioning to be a FOH? And then there was Lisa's conference and...it went LEFT from there. Last season, I mentioned that Mary's event was giving SLC's version of BH's Dinner Party from Hell. Because it was knockdown, drag out crazy AND entertaining. Lisa's press conference was giving SLC's version of RHOP's Karen's Press Conference. And I lived for every moment of it. Lisa tried to present that she was explaining. Everyone picking on the fact that she WAS NOT explaining. And then they proceeded to pick her apart. Bob vs Lisa! Angie K vs Lisa. Britini tagging herself in to take on Meredith. Whitney gagging Meredith, too! It was the one time I enjoyed Heather finding just the right moment for maximum chaos!!! And then ending on the return of S5 Whit...the persona of Whitney from last season that just did not GAF nor did she back down...THAT'S the Whitney that made me start to like her last season. So I loved it all. The tossing of the napkin a la Lisa to her last season. The getting in Lisa's face. The flip-off. The yelling. The storming off. Whitney ran with that, and I didn't hate it at all. Ended the event with a chef's kiss. That said...my one complaint...which appears to be growing across all Housewives shows...has been the fact that all Production now seem to do that thing of rather than play out a scene on-air, they instead do a scene, mention a prior scene, and then cut to a flashback. In a word...WHY? It would be one thing if it was an unimportant scene. But it has increasingly across all shows turned into scenes that should have NEVER been cut in the first place. Just look at the RHOM scene I posted above and all the unseen footage from RHOM reunion...all of which were important to the narrative. Is this reality...or not? I am increasingly starting to dislike that. It really and truly will flow better. That said... HEATHER. Okay, I hate to give her her dues, but she has me intrigued a little bit. For someone that wants to be Lisa's BFF, she continued this week taking digs at her in her Confessional. What are you planning, Heather? And then the fact that Heather ran to tell the ladies about Lisa's comment last week about being above them, knowing it would cause mess. And then that moment during the press conference where with one comment, Heather shifted the focus of the craziness back to the central feud of Lisa vs Bob. I found it masterful, so I'll give her that. MEREDITH. 'Now you pipe in?' gagged me just as much as it gagged Meredith when Whitney said it. Just like Lisa this episode, I felt like Meredith was low-key being turned every which way, but loose. Whitney's comment. Britini with the tag-in. Even Mary...dear Mary...was digging into her. MARY. Same, Mary. I found it confusing. So I too sat right with her and watched how things would go with Lisa's press conference. I did like that like Heather and Angie K, she did try to keep the whole press conference moving and clear. And I lived for her reactions. ANGIE K. I liked seeing Angie K with her father. And we got a little history. I also liked the growing very realistic drama that appears to be happening between her and her daughter. A theme throughout Angie's time on the show has been her tight relationship with her daughter. And now her daughter is growing up and the real friction that can come from her daughter trying to find her own identity. I found that so well done and want to see how it goes for her. Meanwhile, Angie K at the press conference was good. I wished she had reacted like she would have last season. But she really tried to give Lisa grace and tried to be rational and logical, being a bridge between Lisa and the haters ladies so they would not be tearing up Lisa so bad. But alas...Lisa is going to Lisa. BOB. Well, well, well. I was shocked to see her husband decided to film this season. And I felt he was giving out some nuggets of info without meaning to about their life. Then there was the scenes with Bob and her mother. Woooow..what a piece of work. She was nice nasty. And of course, there was the feud with Lisa. She gave the right amount of shade and asked all the right questions, staying eating Lisa up alive. And the fact she has called Lisa out for trying to dig up dirt on Bob (that she claimed to not do) only for Whitney to turn around and prove it was perfection. LISA. I didn't hate Lisa at all. She was giving old school Housewife delusion, and I was loving it. lol. And I love the Usher mention. And Production's Annalise lawyer judge. I can't believe she took a page from the Karen Huger playback and did a press conference. I can't believe how long it took me to catch on and hollering so loud. I can't believe how deluded she was to think they were not going to ask her questions. And I was rolling when FOH Amy started spilling Lisa's tea from her corner, too. I mean...wtf. lol. Not even Heather tried to save her. THEY...ATE...HER...UP. Karen Huger would never. WHITNEY. Granted I am sure Whitney was projecting her drama with her business onto Lisa's situation. That said...clever move to bait yourself for Lisa to reveal an example of her digging into other people's business. Especially since Lisa just claimed she did not do that to Bob. And then the return of S5 Whit...I did not see that coming. And like I said...I WAS LIVING. I can't say this enough...the napkin toss, the napkin toss, the napkin toss....LMAO!!! She got Lisa good...matching the energy Lisa put out. I'm shocked Lisa let her. I was thoroughly entertained. What's next? what's next? Oh, yeah...RHOP.- BTG: October 2025 Discussion Thread
I'm rewatching the last of the September episodes and silly me...I guess I was not paying attention to all of the Jacob/Naomi scene. I know I mentioned Smitty and Marcel's meeting. Now this talk with Jacob and Naomi where she called him out on his tendency to dig. Don't tell me Doug's murder is going to lead Jacob to Kenny's murder...- Married to Medicine
