Well...tbf...the cast of Aidan on GH begs to differ. Aging up happens on soaps just as much as those teen shows. So I disagree. But since I already said my piece on that particular subject that only goes in circles versus the current discussion of the storyline itself...well...I will continue to hush on that one.

LMAO!!! Well, it being November Sweeps, I'm sure Kirsten Dimera...I mean Hayley will be busy scheming next week. And OLTL is a great show so I can understand the binging.

And the thing is...this show used to do the latter. And I used to vent about that all the time because it would usually be for a couple that was actually intriguing, that the audience wanted to see together, and the couple in question had natural chemistry that grew organically. And when you have that chemistry and the story writes itself, why would you throw everything AND the kitchen sink in their way when the setup for the couple does that automatically. It made no sense. These days they do the former. And that is equally as frustrating. Very. I agree. We see Anna more than her. And at least when Emma first returned, I was hoping for a continuous relationship between her and Anna. If they are not going to show us Gio/Emma often, they could show her there. But alas.

Oh the holler I just let out at Portia's 'if you don't get out of my frakking face' strut out of the Q mansion to Jordan. Brook Kerr know she can sell a superb IDGAF attitude. And I see what you mean @carolineg about Veronica vs Tracy and while you felt a way about it. Cuz I too am annoyed at how the ladies are treating her when Veronica started with Tracy at this tea party and Tracy has been mentioning how she was avoiding her at said party. So how is Tracy the villain and not Veronica if not propped writing?

Same. The very definition of representation matters. I knew they would find their chemistry together and I'm happy to see that it happen. Now while I would have love for them to be apart a liiiiiitle bit longer because both actors do longing like a soap couple oh so well and because some of their internal issues are still there...I'm ready now for their next challenge as a couple. Now you know the worst actor is Tomas. 😜 But I am very happy Brandon Clayborn has managed to turn a lot of (if not all) opinions about his acting around. He really stepped up to the challenge, and it's paying off. LMAO!!! Now you stop sounding like how I sound every time they put Josh Morrow in dress pants and tight blue jeans. lol. But seriously Brandon's booty butt is just as much a cast member as Tide and the recently returned Febreeze. hehe. I be living for your commentary on Hayley.

I was personally shocked he wanted to hold a conversation during the 10 pm rush. lol. A good conversation like that on Day of the Dead was worth discussing. I wish I could have continue it. I hope he finds his way. It's kinda funny 8 months in that Martin and Smitty are frontburner more times than not and it's not the typical gay couple. Well...not completely. But it says something that they have stories like Martin trying to block Smitty from working to Martin/Smitty dealing with their kids...Ty and the bullying, Samantha now with her growing sexuality and Nathan, dealing with June, dealing with Martin's Secret and internal issues with that. All in 8 months. Meanwhile...what story does Tessa/Mariah on Y&R and Lucas/Marco on GH have and how often? Now that I think of it...cuz I'm waaaay behind does DAYS have anything going on with Leo?

10-31 Not both B&B and Y&R having Friday cliffhangers. lol. That said...I wasn't bored. However, it wasn't great writing either. There were some moments I did like though. Michael Graz in those boxer briefs. Billy vs Adam and Billy getting his lick back. I always love Victor vs Jack so the last scene of the week was a highlight. I just can't help watching the Y&R L. A. scenes and thinking of Sally Sussman's story arc there. And how both L. A. are literally (pun unintended) night and day. Her story was sunny and breezy. And this place just looked dark. I did like seeing all the extras at the bar. Outside of wardrobe switching JM's pants (thank you ), it was different for sure. I didn't like the runaround in story having to do with Noah's accident, but it did lead to that cliffhanger so I guess that's something. Sorry about your man @slick jones. 😜 But that bubble was bubbling in his scene with that girl you don't like. And I shouldn't have even doubt. I love TB as Sienna. Tamara has always been good at a character with an edge to them vs whiny heroine so yep.

I don't often saying this, but...GET HIM, CARLY!!! GET HIM FOR ME!!! And I'm loving this tea party so far. It's nice to see all the GH ladies in one place and the layers of subplots going on. It actually feels different, refreshing, and at the same time old school soap.

I agree and can see that. Moreso the second point. I've gone from the Samantha Jones of my group to having a serious conversation about being religious vs being spirituality and how that can inform a person just last night with a co-worker who has been exploring both sides. And that turned into the follies of youth. If people were to see me now, they would be shocked. As a gay man, I have become...well...old fashioned. Who knew? lol. So I can see Martin and Smitty being this way and...as they have been proving since the show started...showing a different time of gay man. Gay couple even. And it is refreshing. Not to mention good.

I feel that way as well. I was thinking it was a kinda mini-arc that June and Samantha could bond over, but now it looks like it is going to turn into a whole story.

Not me over here watching the LOOKING Season 2 opener and realizing that the Richie lookalike is Adrian Anchondo (Marco, GH).

I don't know...like the specter of Dante Green...the name drops are there to set up for when characters eventually show up. Or IF they are going to show up. We know they got the mention. Which is quite old school soap. Versus whatever JG is trying at the moment.

10-31 What does it say that I've enjoyed the break from the Forresters? Well...in a way. This week has felt very Spencer-centric to me. And I found it nice. It's a shame we don't get Bill, Katie, Will, and Liam (yes, even him) in a room more often. I didn't really like the comedy of that woman or that Will is in Wyatt's place in a way...but it wasn't offensive if that makes sense. I did miss an episode so I was rolling my eyes at seeing Will with Luna. You just know she is going to let it go to her head. As for the story itself, it can still stay a C plot. Meanwhile, I felt there was plenty I liked. I'm surprised that Daphne and Hope are all of a sudden getting along now that Hope/Carter/Daphne is over with the Liam/Hope engagement. I did like Carter/Daphne got a scene about that. And I liked that Electra and Deke sniffed her coming. See? The little comedic moments. I continue to love the Taylor/Deacon/Sheila storyline. RB and SK really are playing the longing. And I'm such a sucker for that. Even when I know better. I did eyeroll at Li actually caring about Sheila cuz SHEILA? She is going to go off when she realizes something is going on. But...I am interested. And I liked how Deke has been integrated into the canvas. The actor has good rapport with everyone so far. I do wonder if Amber is going to show up at some point. I am also surprised she has not been mentioned. Yet. And I liked seeing Remy and Luna together again. And the storyline with Deke and Remy gave us a classic Friday cliffhanger. Next week also looks pretty good, too. Who know?

I also agree. It's very noticeable to me given what's going on on BTG with their teens where we have an adorable couple in Ty and Jessica. We could be getting that (or a story) with Gio and Emma. So why we are not is just silly.
