  1. I wish they had kept Holly messier, when she wanted Johnny all for herself it was giving Sami 2.0, but every once in awhile they try to make Holly a vixen, they pull the cord .
  2. Just watching the fallout of Ross and Blake's affair, and I just love it when Maureen Garrett's southern drawl comes out, during this storyline it would slip out every now and then lol The show was really firing on all cylinders in 1992.
  3. I agree with this. From Sami to Bill, the reactions would've been monumental.
  4. So things have returned to being run of the mill, the status quo aka boring on this show. How predictable.
  5. David's return really put a literal jolt in the Junior/Cindy/Ian/George quad, I wish he could stay too because he was definitely what the story called for to make it interesting. That episode was classic EE loved it from start to finish.
  6. Looking back how long has it been since Griffith announced he was going to both Produce and write the show? Trying to see if this is a clear sign that CBS is finally losing faith in JG after giving him a period of time to prove himself.
  7. YES!!! One of my favorite EP's is returning to his former stomping grounds! Lawd let this be the beginning of him wrestling control of this show from Josh's incompetent hands.
  8. The show really hit a gold mine when it came to Roman/Marlena/John's blended family.
  9. Oh wow. Unexpected, but I'm thankful this means that Liz/RH will get more airtime obviously.
  10. Even before the baby switch they had thrown other storylines at Nelle, which is why I can perhaps see why viewers were tired of her. Nelle had a vendetta against Carly (complete with flashbacks to when Nelle was a child and a young Carly).
  11. If there's one reason, on top of many, that I wish GL could've gone on longer, is to see how Vanessa's daughter Maureen would've turned out and how her relationships would've been with Bill and Dinah. Ugh, I could write a whole fan fic on Van and Billy's little family and the Marlers. The material writes itself.
  12. Same. I could go for a team that includes Michelle Val Jean, Bob Guza, and Patrick Mulcahey.
  13. This is a rare opinion that I don't see online enough, but it's one I agree with. I think Lloyd Gold's tenure wasn't so bad and was a vast improvement from the tail end of B&E and the Labine's. He got rid of San Cristobal, wrote for Claire (I think she partnered up with Alan), was the one who had Meta in charge of the Lighthouse Gala (which never happened). I do think his one misfire was the time travel storyline, but with Rauch in charge there's plenty of blame to go around lol. His predecessor Millee Taggart tenure didn't start to really run on all 4 cylinders until Carolyn Culliton joined the show.
  14. Wow I’m in disbelief. Totally unexpected
  15. I liked that Clenshaw knew how important the Beales were to Walford and rebuilt them, softened up Phil, brought back Angela Wynter, made Denise a leading lady, and snagged Colin Salmon. Has his tenure been perfect? Absolutely not, but I'll miss having someone running the show who understood what characters were important to the canvas. I hope the new EP does the show justice and continues much of what Clenshaw set in motion.
  16. Looked at a promo of Dorian's return in the early 90s, I didn't know she was also with Jason Webb? So she was with both Jason and Joey? Thats....interesting.
  17. Chris Clenshaw OUT as Exec Prod and Ben Wadey IN as EP after the 40th Anniversary of EE. https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/soaps/eastenders/eastenders-chris-clenshaw-step-down-ben-wadey-newsupdate/
  18. Same. And I will always look at some within the party differently because how we arrived at Biden dropping out.
