I wish both Carly's spawn were messier than their current incarnation; both Joss and Michael. Joss should've started a toxic affair with a professor at PCU, and Michael's recent betrayal should lead him down a dark road. However with Van Etten and Valentini, we all know none of the above would ever play out on our screens.

I can see Hope coming back as a more business oriented woman in the early 90s. Years ago someone suggested casting Julia Barr in the role, and I can't stop thinking that she would've been perfect for it while playing a new and reinvented Hope Bauer.

EEEK! This is so exciting!! As for the list of writers, I remain hopeful. It's all about who's at the helm, and Val Jean and Guza are strong writers. It doesn't bother me that Ron Carlivati is a BW, because at the end of the day he's not producing the stories. My issue has always been RC as a HW, never as a breakdown writer. So many times we don't find out a writer is crap until their promoted to HW, but leading up to that their lackluster talent does not reflect onscreen. I think the same will be apparent here with RC.

Tried to locate the video on youtube but sadly it may have been removed, but I found the scenes of Veronica trying to kill Nikki at the Newman Ranch on Y&R to be not just thrilling but scary (and Veronica's overall look creepy). It was so scary to watch in real time as a kid, and rewatching it today it's a tour de force in directing. The David Kimble reveal was equally creepy/scary too. So many scenes from Y&R could be listed in this thread actually, just a testament to the directors, producers, and writers commitment to taking their job seriously.

They just need to make him a permanent recast at this point. And it's starting to be similar to Kelly Monaco/Lindsey Hartley situation IMO...

Honestly it's crazy how those Apprentice tapes where Trump allegedly says it, have never been made public.

Trump could never win the popular vote, not in 2016, not in 2020, and definitely will not win it in 2024. And the only reason he won in 2016 is because of the ridiculous electoral college. Just don't see it happening at all this year.
