  1. This is probably more for the Search thread but I do remember an opening credits shot from the last few years of her with a guitar.
  2. This channel has some of her singing on Search. Here's a nice song she did with Michael Nouri. I am not sure when she stopped singing (can't remember if she did much on Search in the '80s).
  3. An audio recording of all of Grayson's work in the play. Grayson Hall scenes as the Fly in the musical stage play HAPPY END (1977) - audio only with photos
  4. I hadn't thought about it before, but I can definitely see the A-M/Blake path with Sherry in the role, as Blake started in such a position of power over him, then by the time she was leaving the role, he was in a position of power over her. Once she hit the bricks with Ross and Alan-Michael would be dumped by Eleni, they would be more of equals. I'm not sure how I would have felt if they'd paired them with Liz in the role. I thought it took her several years to find the part.
  5. I'd forgotten about this - a fan recreation of Mission to the Unknown (the setup story to Daleks' Master Plan). Mission to the Unknown Recreation | FULL EPISODE | Doctor Who
  6. You probably already knew this but just in case - the channel has several episodes featuring Mary Stuart.
  7. Neither had I. I don't remember if Kelly ever talked about it. I checked and couldn't find any mention from her, even though I'd think it helped give her some experience for Regis & Kelly.
  8. Thanks @Jonathan that was moving. An episode of a short-lived music show co-hosted by Kelly Ripa. Music Scoupe (March 13, 1994) @alwaysAMC You may enjoy this.
  9. I think there is still some audience for a talk show compared to podcasts, but many of those viewers are aging out. Others stopped watching because of all the heavy political focus. I'd guess Seth Meyers will be gone within two years, Fallon and SNL maybe three or four.
  10. William Hartnell growling "DALEKS!!" in heavy close-up with dramatic music finishing the scene off is utter perfection. There are also some Nic Courtney scenes in here that weren't in the other clip. The TARDIS in the early years of the show looks so cold and expansive. One of the positives of the Disney revival was trying to go back to that type of TARDIS.
  11. Thanks so much for sharing this @Franko I kept wondering when Don's episode would appear as they had posted a short of it. I had no idea Eileen was ever on the show. There must be 4-5 episodes of them if they are still surviving. @zanereed @Mitch64 @slick jones @vetsoapfan @Khan @Soapsuds @Tisy-Lish @All My Shadows @wonderwoman1951 @Paul Raven @SoapDope78 @Soaplovers @Speed Racer @GL Oldtimer @DeeVee @Spoon @P.J. @Vee @DramatistDreamer @dc11786 Sorry for anyone I forgot to tag.
  12. I can see where the pacing might seem brisk, but when I'd watch I also felt like not much was happening. Maybe the combo is what alienated viewers. I would have loved seeing Moltke in this story. I would have put her in the Angelique role for this story. I know that would have cost us Lara Parker but they could have easily had the real Angelique cross over to "save" Barnabas, as Julia did. Maybe even have her as some brain dead schemer in PT and then the real Angelique kills her, saying to the camera, "There is only ONE Angelique." I liked Donna Wandrey, but Roxanne was so vapid, never given a chance to be an actual character. The only chance Donna gets is her brief run in 1840. Kate Jackson is a big what might have been for me as I just didn't connect with her stories on the show (it didn't help that she was in the shadow of the divine Virginia Vestoff [who blew her and many others off the screen] and Lara Parker - she did manage to get in some good work as a dying Daphne in 1841 PT).
  13. @Vee A few minutes of an audio recording. Grayson Hall as the Fly in the musical HAPPY END (1977) singing THE BALLAD OF THE LILY OF HELL
  14. Ray is gone and Lee has dementia so yes, you're right, I could see Amy as a matriarch for those left behind - a Grandma Kate for today.
  15. They probably saw no need once Phil was gone for good, but I do wish they'd brought Rosemary back for an anniversary - the 25th in particular.
  16. Lost Doctor Who and the Daleks episodes discovered in 'ramshackle' collection https://filmisfabulous.org.uk/missing-doctor-who-recovered/ This is incredible news - just what we all need right now. My happiest day as a fan in years. For me this is one of THE Doctor Who stories - it rarely leaves my head. I never thought we'd get more episodes, even with whispers of such, and frankly I didn't know if we would again in my lifetime, or anyone's lifetime. I had no idea that episodes from this story in particular were meant to be so impossible to find (the story was not sold overseas). Everything about Daleks Master Plan is bonkers and grimdark - so much about this story never should have worked yet somehow does. And that continues with five episodes and counting of a story that wasn't meant to survive somehow surviving. Film is Fabulous is doing phenomenal work in these discoveries for so many shows - this is the first Doctor Who they've found but they seem to have a great track record.
  17. Larkin Malloy, IIRC, was on one of their covers too.
  18. They're still alive, although I am not sure if they are still acting.
  19. @I Am A Swede The Emmerdale powers that be recently said "Annie Sugden would be proud of" Robert/Aaron getting Butler's Farm (now renamed Emmerdale Farm) and Cain and Moira getting their own farm (Dingle Farm). I thought it was a great example of how little producers of recent decades get about the family or characters of the early days, well-meaning or not. Annie loved her family farm - she wasn't a fairy godmother of all farms in Beckindale. And that family farm was taken from her even before she left the village. She wouldn't care about a cadre of killers buying farms, other than Robert, and she would probably just feel sad about so many of the choices Robert has made. They should have focused more on what Annie would have wanted before they decided to invent a grandson for her just to make him a serial killer.
  20. This is all still insane to me. AW got some bad breaks but also was lucky to hang on for so many rocky periods. Irna had fired or tried to fire key actors on her other soaps but never so early on or on such a spree. I'm almost surprised she was able to get on other soaps on the air after this.
  21. I figured Tangie/Alan-Michael were over long before her exit, I just thought it would have been an interesting story, as Alan-Michael had never had any kids (and never would). I agree Nick worked best with Tangie and Susan (and his friendship with Fletcher).
  22. Thanks for sharing all this @soapfan770 You're right at what a stretch Angela seems to be based on that speech alone. At least they worked in another reference to Grandfather.
