  1. There always seems to be this hell of P&G not wanting to do anything with their material and not wanting anyone else to do anything with it either, so it just rots. I still wonder if they ever did anything with those episodes they took clips from for the late '60s and early '70s (the final B&W episode, the episode where Lee Gantry dies).
  2. I think he was let go. Daniel Cosgrove was alright but I probably liked Korver the most too. He had good chemistry with older women, which should have kept going to give Bob and Kim headaches. The issue was the awful and weird Abigail/Chris pairing which just made him seem too old.
  3. I think that whole story where the characters laughed at Jax being sexually assaulted was a window into how TPTB felt about Jax.
  4. A video detailing how each missing episode was recovered (this video is from five years ago). Some of those earlier recoveries, especially the '80s recoveries and then everything surrounding the lost Crusade episode in 1999, are very interesting. "How Doctor Whos Missing Episodes Came Back" Documentary - Omnibus
  5. A tribute to Kevin Dobson, with Paul Carafotes (Harold) and Susan Dobson. We're Knot Done Yet - Episode 48
  6. I would have said someone who finished the original show would have been even less likely to approve a revival.
  7. You're right - I misheard.
  8. That's a very nice statement from Susan Lucci, without making it about herself the way some actors do.
  9. These are such sweet photos. This would have had a much sourer vibe with Sean Penn (if he would have even taken any photos). The Academy on X: "Best winner portraits ever? Congrats to our acting winners Jessie Buckley, Amy Madigan, and Michael B. Jordan! #Oscars https://t.co/0WRsb0VPy3" / X
  10. I forgot about her. That's a good pick.
  11. That's why I would have killed her off in 2024 if that's where the story was going, although I'm glad Maura still has a gig.
  12. Many of their articles or comments ended up just being rage bait to me, intended or not. I swear I remember some there actually calling Judith Light ungrateful for not returning to OLTL for Cartini slop.
  13. On a recent Locher Room episode, Ellery Capshaw (Natalie Snyder, ATWT) said she auditioned for Faith, but they said she was too young.
  14. Love, Loss & the Stories We Carry | Ellery Capshaw (ATWT) & Ron Stempkowski Live Ellery played Natalie Snyder from 2005-2008.
  15. Ava and Nina are both something of a struggle for me, but when she gets the chance I think Watros can find more of a real person in Nina, whereas Ava, outside of some nice moments with her female friendships, is all artifice.
  16. Jack Lemmon would be another.
  17. Welcome back @Maxim great to see your reviews again.
  18. He does have a big ego, but the ballet and the opera are in a very bad way and there's a good chance theaters will go the same way. You'd think Spielberg, who is a big part of why art left films due to stuff like Jaws, would know what he means, but many just wanted to take a pop because everyone loves trends and bandwagons. I've seen a great deal of anger over her win, comparing her to Jamie Lee Curtis, and so on. I don't give a damn. I'm happy for Amy, for Field of Dreams and Uncle Buck, and so much else.
  19. He hasn't been for weeks, if he ever was. Him losing the BAFTA was the big sign. He's not well-liked, and that matters. You can see it in the ridiculous response to him pointing out that most people don't go to the ballet or the opera. MBJ is the current favorite, but there's been enough of a racist backlash against him that I wouldn't be shocked if Ethan Hawke wins.
  20. Ewa da Cruz (Vienna, ATWT) said she read for Lucy Montgomery. Thanks to @slick jones for finding the article. Spotlight On ... Ewa Da Cruz (Vienna Hyatt, ATWT)
  21. Thanks @slick jones some audition info on Ewa I didn't know. Sorry if you already updated/mentioned and I forgot, but David James Carroll (Knots, AW) was also on Musical Chairs in August and September 1975. Gretchen Wyler (Somerset, Santa Barbara, Falcon Crest, etc.) was on in August 1975.
  22. Thanks. I can't say I would have been able to stomach those scenes. HB being mentioned just makes their later marriage even more offputting.
  23. I wonder if this is the same abuse Josh threw in her face when she returned in 1995 (which disgusted me).
