GL Wednesday: Jeffrey deserved a better backstory!

Not that I really care about Jeffrey, but, I wouldn't be surprised if Bradley Cole's fans were !@#$%^&*]ing about this.

I don't mind him being an evil character, but plastic surgery? A Jailed Past? C'mon!

But I will say this: I was never a fan of Bradley Cole. But after seeing today's scene where he was opposite himself as Richard, I've got a newfound respect for him. I wasn't watching back then during the Richard/Cassie era(too much Royalty and Mob Drama for my flavor), but did Richard have a British accent back then?! If so, I'm impressed with the way he was able to distinguish both characters from each other. I definitely don't want him shoved down my throat the way he was during the Weston/Conboy era, but I see what all the fuss is about. He's a good actor. I see why he has fans, even obsessed rabid ones that don't want PSAs about organ donation.

I agree that he's a good actor. Maybe not the best, but he's perfectly capable as a soap performer and did some terrific work as Richard. I don't think anyone could have saved the shoddy writing for Jeffrey, though.

I'm not a fan of Jeffrey but I agree, Bradley Cole is a pretty good actor. He makes the differences between Richard and Jeffrey so clear. Lame backstory or not, I couldn't help but feel bad for Jeffrey...the guy has to feel completely alone because no one really knows who he is and he can't (or chooses not to) confide in anyone about who he really is..I thought BC did a good job showing that internal anguish.

Jeffery doesn't interest me for the most part, but yesterdays show was ok. I don't mind that he was a criminal at one point. He seems to have reformed, for the most part. I just wonder when he went to law school/ <_<

I'm sure it's been explained and I missed it. I wonder if Blake and Jeffery are going anywhere?

I caught a chunk of the episode and couldn't help but feel it was a retread of Dinah's return when Kriezman first started writing. If this had been revealed than and Jeffrey had treated Dinah with a bit of humanity considering his connection to the situation, Jeffrey would be more tolerable. The episode wasn't bad, but it didn't hold my attention. The show does some odd Jeffrey pimping- that mother saying he was perfect for his daughter.

Random comment: I did think that Liz Kiefer looked gorgeous.

I feel like I should've stayed awake during my last semester of school because I didn't get that nonsense at all. Not at all.
