Mine are....

- Elizabeth annoys me to no end, I don't see a brave strong heroine at all. I only like her with Lucky and these days.....well it's just not happening.

- I loved Robyn Richards's Maxie, but I also like Kirsten Storms in the role of Maxie and I think the character of Maxie is fascinating.

- I do not find the character of Dillon interesting and think Scott Clifton is overrated.

- I think the actor that plays Diego is underrated

- Nikolas Cassadine should not be in a pairing for awhile, he is better interacting with friends and family.

Post away yours, I'm sure I'll be back with more!

- Maurice Benard is a one note actor and is incredibly overrated. His intensity is mistaken for brilliant work. But his range is non existant.

- Steve Burton acts circles around Maurice, and I highly doubt his talent is due to being under Maurice's one-note wing. Steve's range is fantastic. Anger, sorrow, joy, comedy, drama... he can do it.

- Carly has never been "Carly" ever since Sarah Brown vacated the role five years ago.

- Tony Geary is horrible at doing accents, and the show needs to stop writing storylines around Luke only so they can stop abruptly for Geary's eighteen month vacations every six weeks. I still love him immensely, though.

- I miss Wendy Riche.

- Rick Hearst is phenomenal and incredibly underutilized as Ric Lansing a.k.a. AJ Quatermaine Part II ("Everything is Jason's fault! I'm so jealous of Jason! It's all Jason's fault!)

- Lorenzo should've knocked Sonny's ass out the box years ago!

- Michael needs to be recast when he gets into his teen years -- I'm afraid puberty won't be Dylan Cash's best friend.

-Laura Wright deserves star billing in the credits. I feel Carly is the most imporant character on GH. And I agree with Guza and Pratt that Carly is "the centerpiece," as long as Laura Wright is playing her. Without Laura Wright's acting talent and star power, GH would probably tie GL in the households.

-HATED Tamara Braun's Carly with a passion. I thought Tamara was dull and lifeless and therefore, the writers were forced to write around the fact that she couldn't play Carly as a !@#$%^&*](also felt like Mo loved this idea, b/c being paired with a weaker inexperienced actress put all of the focus on him). So, Carly did not evolve, IMO, during Tamara's portrayal. They just made her into a spineless shrew. The only time Tamara ever impressed me was during the whole "Michael Is Dead" thing. I felt by that time she had come full circle.

-Why must EVERYTHING about Scrubs be about HIV/AIDS? The occassional mention maybe once or twice a week is fine, but just as they were starting to overcome that challenge, Patrick finds out he may be infected?

-I really liked Lydia Karenin, especially the first chick that played her.

-Always thought that if Marisa Ramirez returned to GH as Gia(after the cancelation of MIRACLES), that she and Tyler Christopher would have had amazing chemistry with each other.

-Derk Cheetwood is YUMMY.

-I wish GH focused on even more medical drama than they do now.

-If GH replaces the head-writing team, I want Frons BANGING DOWN Karen Harris's door to be the Head-Writer.

-GH under Guza isn't THAT bad. Prefer it much more than Guza/Pratt. But a change is DESPERATELY needed in the writing staff.

-Love some of the dinner music played in the background at the MetroCourt, especially this one piece that I feel really sets what is supposed to be a "trendy, yet upscale" tone.

-Speaking of, I'm glad the male waiters no longer wear those god-awful corsets. People flipping channels probably thought MetroCourt was an S+M Bar.

ETA: Unpopular as a WHOLE or unpopular on THIS board?!

- The Sonny "bipolar" story has been long overdue. Unfortunately, it came about 3 years too late and I have trouble "buying" any of Sonny's breakthroughs. On paper, the story does work though.

- As much of a Liz/Lucky fan I've been, I honestly stopped caring about them months ago. I don't mind these issues they've been going through. They were written as dull as dishwater for the longest time. At least now they have something to work with.

- The return of Robert Scorpio has been a dud. He's definitely not all that and a bag of chips. I'd much rather have Anna back by herself than Robert.

- I miss Summer Holloway. I thought she and Jacob Young's Lucky had some great chemistry :)

I love Mucky. I think KS and GV have some chemistry and I'd like to see their couple pairing be more than a plot point for LL2.

I'm not interested in Sonny.

I wish Alexis would get a new guy.

I love Laura Wright as Carly. She's the best since Sarah.

~ I love Maxie and Lucky too. I think Kirsten is doing a great job as Maxie and she and Greg have great chemsitry together, which for me as an actor fan means everything.

~ I love Ric Lansing - Rick Hearst is an acting GOD! I wish GH would write the material so he can "go there" and really show his amazing talent.

~ I love the gun packin', leather jacket wearin', mob enforcer Jason Morgan. I hate domesticated Jason.

~ I may not like Carly at times but I think Laura Wright is doing a fabu job as Carly. I really love her in this role - but I miss Tamara.

~ I really have been enjoying Tyler Christopher lately - he just ROCKS as the Cassadine Prince! I enjoy him more with Helena, and Alexis than in a romantic pairing.

~ I think Max's crush on Carly is hysterical. Love them!

~ I am enjoying LuLu and Dillon immensely! GQ (Georgie and Dillon) has gotten to boring for me.

~ Love Jason and Elizabeth - even though Elizabeth is getting on my nerves lately.

~ Love Epiphany Johnson and wish we'd see more of her and Stan - this show needs more family togetherness and not in the Ric/Sam sort of way!

~ Am enjoying SCRUBS and their HIV story - I'm looking forward to where it's going.

~ Still want Rexis together even after all Ric has done - I can't help it. I love Rick and Nancy's chemistry and I think there is a LOT more to be told about Ric Lansing. Bring Trevor Lansing to PC!!

I know the show is awful these days, and the ratings are in the toilet, but I actually started watching again regularly -- and I stopped, oh ten-plus years ago? Whenever the very first Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) 'died' in the fire. A loooooong time ago.

But I came back for a couple of reasons:

1. Scrubs. LOVE THEM. And I never liked Robin, or Noah Drake. But they're so refreshing about sex, and the 'fall in love after starting a sexual relationship' is one of my favorite stories to be played out.

2. Laura Wright as Carly. She's brought Carly back to that fiery, intense, determined, conflicted fireball she was back in the beginning. I can't stand Sonny or the mob junk, but I slow down the FF and watch every scene she's in.

3. Laura's coming back!! Eeee! (I have loved her since she started on the show as a young girl, way back when we were the same age for about ten minutes. *g*) Even if it's for a short while, Lucky and Nikolas and Lulu need their momma around, desperately. I've got my kleenex box ready in anticipation.

4. Speaking of Lulu, I never really watched the Georgie/Dillon relationship, but I caught Dillon and Lulu having a heart-breaking conversation after he found out she had lied to him to get him into bed, and the two of them totally hooked me. Lulu is such a product of Luke and Laura's benign neglect and yet still so clearly their offspring, it's impossible for me not to feel sorry for her.

5. When did Nikolas get so hot and commanding? Yowza.

6. Soily broke up. Thank GOD!

Where to begin.....

Hated Tamara Braun too. Never thought she could act. I thought she took the essence of Carly and killed it. Laura Wright has brought the feistiness that is Carly back. However, I don't want her on my show five days a week.

This show is called General Hospital. Not General Mob. Let's focus again on hospital stories and cut back on the mob stories. Oh and Sonny's love for Emily was not a pure love, it was about a middle aged man wanting some action from a nubile twenty something.

Maxie and Lucky are horrible together. I am beginning not to like Greg Vaughn in the role.

They need to use their best assets on the show, the Quartermaines. Give Ned a love interest!

- Maurice Bernard is the worst actor in daytime and Sonny is the worst character in daytime.

- Helena Cassadine is my favorite character of all time on GH.

- I love the opening

- I think Kirsten Storms makes a good Maxie.

- My favorite Carly was Jennifer Bransford.

Lets see I am about to be stone but I want:

Sonny and Lainey

Like Liz and Jason

Less Carly, way to much Carly.

Sarah Brown best Carly period

- Don't all hit me at once, but I loved Tamara Braun's Carly. I guess I just like the way Carly evolved... maybe that has more to do with the actress herself than the way Carly was being written at the time. I just thought TB had star quality. Different than Sarah Brown who was, of course, amazing but, still, quality.

- I like Laura Wright's total command of Carly but, strangely (considering she played weepy Uber Heroine Cassie on GL), her "vulnerable" moments seem a bit forced. And as much as I love LW's energy (she IS one of the best actresses on the show), I'm not that crazy about EntitledCarly. It's stopping me from loving her completely. She. Must. ALWAYS. Win. In. Every Scene! It sorta makes me wish Sarah Brown was back because she was bossy and ballsy but also conveyed underlying vulnerability and doubt which, IMO, IS Carly.

That, and the fact that Carly's on 5 days a week. Oy.

- I love Nikolas. Period. Although NEm certainly tried my patience because I DESPISE Emily. I prefer Nikolas as the Princely guy involved with the Spencers and Cassadines.

- More Cassadines! God, I wish Stefan would come back.

- I honestly would not mind Sonny and the Mob stuff if the show was a LOT more evenly balanced. I loved Claire Labine's tenure and she's the one that made Sonny Must-Watch TV. She brought the Mob to the forefront but she also balanced it by making it an ensemble show and by making the law enforcement/"good" guys as a counterbalance to the Mobular stuff.

- I think Maurice looks tired and bored. It's better than 2003 when it was SonnyCarlyCourtneyJason all day long, every day. But, honestly, I think Sonny should leave or take a sabbatical or something because he -- and we -- need a little break.

- More hospital and espionage stuff. The vets are wasted -- they show up like it's a fan Weekend, wave, and we the audience go "OMG! Tristan! Finola! Noah! EEEEEEEEEEEE!" But TIIC give them absolutely NOTHING to do.

- The characters and actors I really adore seem to always be on the backburner or on recurring. Greg Vaughan is capable of so much more, something his current performance only hints at. Constance Towers, Blake Gibbons, Ted King, Robin Christopher, Rick Hearst, John Ingle, Jane Elliott, Kent Masters King... I would love to see them involved in REAL Sls on the show and show off their considerable screen presence and acting skills.

- Much as I love Skye/Robin Christopher, I think she would be better served going back to AMC. GH gives her NOTHING.

- I like Kelly Monaco and don't hate Sam --- SL changes pending.

- The Qs. We need real stories for them. And they need to bring back Billy Warlock as AJ. I'd love for AJ to be more than SaSon's whipping boy.

- I love KS's bad girl Maxie. She's been great with Greg Vaughan in the drug story, I see a good connection with them.

- I hate Liz. I don't see her as little miss innocent at all. She's been lying, skulking around, hiding in closest, taking mob money, stealing mob evidence to destroy, going to jail, covering up the almost killing of Lulu, and so much more for months. She's like a Carly in training. She also seems to have forgotten she has a child.

- I think GH needs to cut all the (non-vets) people they have on contract and they don't intend to stick to their minimums. If you have someone on contract with a two day min and you put them on screen once a month. Send them to recurring and free up some budget for a location shoot or new characters they would use.

- If they wanted Ric to repeat one of his sins, I wish they would have had him put Carly back in the Panic Room so we could have some peace and not have her infest and ruin every single story on this show. LW does not play Carly layered and the "love the hate" character she always was. I rather get back Jennifer Bransford than this version we got now.

- I don't want Nikolas reuniting with Emily. He needs to bond with his kid and not bring the Emily drama back into his life or his baby's at the moment.

- I want more adventures like the Markhym Islands with Luke, Anna, Robert, Robin, Lulu and Robert. Bring the fun back. This show is so dreary.

- I loathe Kirsten Storms' portrayal. She's as awful as she was as Belle on Days.

- I loathe GQ. Georgie annoys me, and Dillon annoys me with Georgie.

- Maurice Benard is a horrible actor, he's awful and Sonny is insanely boring as well.

- Rick Hearst and Nancy Lee Grahn are so underrated it's redicilous.

- Lorenzo is boring.

- MyKill sucks as much as Sonny.

- Couldn't stand Tamara Braun's Carly.

- Greg Vaughn is not capable of doing this drug story. He's awful.

- Laura Wright is awesome, but I hate Carly 90% of the time.

- I wish Alexis would get revenge on Ric's ONS by sleeping with either Jax, Jason or Lorenzo (boring, but he's yummy - imagine the Ted King/Nancy Lee Grahn chemistry).

- ... however, I still wish Ric and Alexis would get back together.

- I love Sam/Alexis as mother and daughter.

- Lulu and Dillon are awesome!

- I despise Holly.

- By everything I've seen of Luke and Laura, they're boring, and I want Luke with Tracy.

- Liz is annoys me to the point where I wanna pull my hair out. She's annoying, a hypocrite and she's !@#$%^&*]y.

You're phenomenal! :P I'm a writer, so I commend someone who is able to express something in a way that makes me say "I never thought about it like that, but OMG! YOU'RE SO RIGHT!!!" The Vets/Fan Weekend comparison was exactly one of those moments!

Back to the Laura Wright thing, I am not saying she is a horrible actress. She's a wonderful actress (and probably would get MY support if she were in a new role that she could create from scratch). What I'm saying is her take on and her attitude about playing the role of Carly sucks ass! I remember catching her on that infamous Soap Talk interview (back when I had SoapNet...SAD.gif DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU CABLEVISION OF SOUTHWESTERN CONNECTICUT!!), and she was going on and on with her self-induced praise of how everyone at GH loves her and how Tony Geary loves her and how Maurice Benard says she totally gets the role of Carly and this and that and blah, blah, blah (Lisa Rinna was all, "WOW! I guess they're REEEALLY lucky to have YOU, huh?!" )... and it bleeds into her performance. She views Carly, thanks to the foundation laying work of SB, as this complex signature role that only a certain actress of a certain caliber is able to portray -- and now, since she's got it, she's in the catbird seat in daytime... and that lends itself to Carly coming across as EntitledCarly -- which as you've said, and I've said in other discussions JUST ISN'T CARLY!!!

Carly was fiesty and ferocious and determined because she felt she had to FIGHT for everything she had and all that she wanted -- not because she felt it was OWED to her.

And, yeah. Enough of the "IT'S CARLY!! FIVE DAYS A WEEK!!" crap. Okay? WE GET IT! ABC and GH have high hopes for Laura Wright and want to force feed their ideas of how great and marvelous she is down the viewing public's throats! It's been almost a year, now. Can we see a little bit less? Have her, maybe, be in only TWO storylines this next year, instead of SIX? I'm surprised the !@#$%^&*] wasn't offering Colleen oral gratification to get an in-roads to John.

The Skye situation, I agree as well. She seems so out of place at General Hospital ever since she was Un-Quatermained. It's like... why is she there? Kind of like when Anna was on AMC. Alex Devane made sense since it was a character specifically created for that show, but Anna never fit. If Robin were to come aboard as another character made specifically for GH, rather than have the bulk of her character's history be tied to two other sister shows (AMC and OLTL), then maybe it would be different.

This is fun! And I'm amazed at how many people actually LIKE Kirsten Storms' Maxie. I detest Little Miss Kirsten and her portrayl of Maxie. That actress is to my nerves like a cheese grater to brick of cheddar! UGH!

Is there really any unpopular opinions about this show? I think we pretty much all agree that this show sucks right now.
