Why can't PGP just develop a REAL Soap Channel instead of this online, on-demand bullshit that no one can tape for later viewing? And that will immediately screw over their dial-up audience?

I guess we won't see SOAPnet classics anytime soon.

Sounds cool! I can't wait for this.

I see more and more online channels. It's much harder to get clearance on a new cable network and convince cable providers to pick it up. I'm hoping they can make good money on this that will add to the ATWT and GL budgets. And who knows, if it is profitable and there is a demand, a P&G regular TV channel could be next.

WOO HOO. I love this. I can't wait for AW.

This is a GREAT step. It shows that they're aware of the interest in their back catalog and that they have corresponding interest in making it available.

Michael, great point. I have wondered if P&G realized the value to soap fans of their enormous catalogue.

It seems like the new content they have been providing for VCast phones will also be available here.

I'll take what I can get!

instead of complaining about them doing this, why not be just happy that they are taking the steps to go forward with this bc the alternative is that we get nothing at all.

Anyone know how this will work? I am just wondering because while I am enjoying AW on Soapent. I also wanted to see lot of the stuff coming up as we get further into the ninties. That is why I wish Soapnet would air more than one AW a day. While I like this idea, I hope we have access to just more than one AW a day.

Oh. My. God.

Someone's going to have to pry me away from my computer and out of the apartment. I *love* P&G soaps. For me, the two have always gone hand in hand and I honestly can't think about one without thinking about the other. Good move, P&G!

This is INCREDIBLE. And I don't care if I do have dial-up. I'm going to take as long as I have to to download some full episodes of these shows!

Wow, this sounds great, especially the classic soap episodes!
