I hate transition periods, but the show is nowhere near a bad as it's been before

We could have Will, Chelsea, Abby, Josh, and 4 or 5 recurring classmates on an island all summer searching for treasure, contemplating having sex, and making fun of each other, While all the vets sits on the backburner and appear once every 2 weeks ;) I'll count my blessings lol

I hear that. And Higley's disastrous summer was bad compared to what we have now. The next handful of months will be some good soap, I'm sure of it. Hey, at the very least we get to see two capable soap writers (Milstein, Sheffer) shares their visions with us in a short period of time. Even with so-so stories, it could be cool just the same. A little taste of something new before Sheffer hits us with a (what I'm sure could turn out to be quite a literal) BANG.

Yeah, it was a wedding, but it was probably the worst wedding DAYS has done in recent years. This was definitely one of the worst. Tony/Maya/Bomb takes the cake, but this one isn't far behind.

Last year's was AWESOME. I re-watched the episode over and over!

can we please not turn this thread into a shelle/shimi debate....And Terri wasn't bashing anyone on this board...just wondering if the poster was legit..

Actually, KevC, Terri knows better than to bring other posts to another website. But, she was just trying to discredit a Shimi fan to make herself look good.

No more mentioning of Shelle vs. Shimi and who's discrediting whom.

Keith,

After watching tomorrow's day-ahead scenes (well S&K's anyway) it actually makes sense for Kayla to bring up Stefano. In the context of what happened to Steve, there's a strong superficial resemblence to what happened to Marlena and Hope at the hands of Stefano (retconned from Orpheus and Toscano, of course). That is, the deaths of all 3 were faked and all 3 had their memories wiped. I'm very hopeful, though, that Kayla immediately thinking Stefano did it is just a red herring.

After posting this initially, I began to think maybe it was one of those things where Steve asks who would do something like that and Stefano came up immediately, because he has done thatm, but not necwessarily to Steve. Still, would it be so hard to say Lawrence Alamain?

The 2003 J&J wedding was pretty lame. And made lamer by virtue of the fact it was supposed to be a great supercouple get-together.

To be honest, none of the weddings in recent years has been good. The last "real" wedding was Chloe and Brady, and I suspect they got a good wedding and send-off because they were popular with the fanbase and TPTB had a hard-on for them, together. I'm not counting J&J's In The House fiasco, or the Shimi and Carcas weddings because even though the last two couples got hitched, the ceremonies were almost stopped and the focus wasn't on them the entire time.
