What was that shirt that Bo was wearing today? That made me think he was goth and weird.... also that shirt was disgusting.

Oh and Shawn will be recast. Bope's son is going nowherre. You will see Mimi go before him. I new actor could do wonders for the role so I agree with that. I do want the character of Mimi gone though.

I was too shocked by Charity on the dance floor with Philip one day and still on the dance floor the next day with Martha. Very shocking since I was new back to Days and hadn't read any spoilers at all. But, it would be nice to see a more mature looking actor cast as Shawn, too.

I don't care if it was merely build-up. It sucked. No television show should have to be explained as this or that. It should just entertain. Any idea who wrote the episode (I liked Carrie and Austin and consider that's all I liked--that's scary)

KR is right-with Brandt leaving and Belle and Mimi staying (well we don't for sure about Mimi but I digress) someone needs to be left. Sure they can bring back JKJ to play Philip but there would no story there. They would need a Shawn and Shawn is the son of one of the show's beloved couples. Corday loves Shelle and he won't just let it die. I have actually heard rumors that Days would rather have Cook come and go and pursue other projects like Nadia Bjorlin did. I don't know for sure about that but I know they will recast or keep the character on in some way. Days has made some great casting decisions in the past few years and they could go find a cheap newcomer to play the role like they did Martha Madison and it may be another great find. This is Days' opportunity to make the character better like they did with Belle. Find a different actor and write the character a little better and it could do wonders.

I hope Mimi and Phillip's baby makes it.

Not because I want Mimi to get a kid , but because I want Phillip, the ultimate chump, to get a kid of his own.

Plus, if it's Phillip's, then Bonnie can harp on something else besides helping her daughter continue to lie to her husband.

And, I want Kate to be stuck with another female that she can't stand as the mother of her grandchild.

Speaking of Philip, what is up with his frequently calling Belle "Mrs. Kiriakis?" I hadn't noticed it until today, but he does that A LOT. I've questioned whether it has to do with marking his territory or whether it is out of gloating; after all, NO ONE at Salem High that Shawn and Belle would EVER split up; and lo and behold, Philip ends up with Belle! It must do WONDERS for his ego since he couldn't get his old obsession, Chloe Lane.

okay...watching the show now..and its pretty boring..I will say that i liked Austin Peck today..i thought he did a great job with his scenes on the rooftop today, trying to get Carrie to stop the wedding..

Kev, I completely agree. Austin Peck was on FIRE today. I couldn't believe it. Actual emotion! He BROUGHT IT.

I was too, Kev. At first I was thinking, "Wait, are the sleeves see-thru?" and then I realized they weren't and thought, "But the sleeves have a flesh tone so if they're not see-thru, well, what's the point?" and then I thought, "Oh my God, am I going crazy? What if the sleeves ARE see-thru?!!!!" It was very stressful watching that shirt. It was so perplexing!!!

Peck was really good, especially for Peck. The thing about Peck is that he makes it work for him, even with his lack of talent. There is something about the character that I like.

If Cook leaves they need to recast and get him a new wardrobe. He looks like a teen in those shorts and god-awful shirt rather than a guy who is about to become a father for the second time.

I just pray that after all the recasting of Shawn and maybe Philip, they just get rid of Mimi. Fath can't act for crap and she turns everything into a joke. After the truth comes out I see no point in keeping this character, IMO, she wore out her welcome 4 years ago. As a going away gift they could buy her a comb and some hair conditioner.

Please No, please please don't let him come and go. Nadia's in and out destroyed a lot of my vim and vigor for Days and led to other actors being let go. We lost Crancy because they wouldn't recast and since the Chloe fans couldn't live without fantasizing about the actress they killed any hope of her paired characters moving on.

I agree with everything you said, especially about Farah needing to leave. Cook, Peck, and Brandt may not be that good, but there's something endearing about them and they do have their moments where they step up. Farah and Mimi are just annoying. She does nothing but whine all her lines. If she's angry, she whines. If she's sad, she whines. If she's happy, she whines. She's the new Kirsten Storms of DAYS.
